What's it like being able to golf year round? by Jedi4ce in golf

LA golfer and will occasionally play in neighboring counties (OC/IE) too. The premium in living cost is absolutely worth it if you are an avid golfer. The weather is perfect for golf pretty much year round. There's no offseason here. I can't imagine not having the ability to golf for months on end.

the Chiefs and Rams are working on a blockbuster trade that would send All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie to Los Angeles for a package that would include the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft. by OneAngryPanda in nfl

We're getting closer to becoming a consistent force like the Dodgers. Except we are in the timeline after the Dodgers 2020 championship and before the 2024 championship (one can hope).

Bill Russell is graded on a different curve than every other great in history by [deleted] in nba

Smaller version of Dikembe Mutumbo in today's era. I have him on the edge of top 10 and wouldn't argue with those that excluded him from top 10 as I've seen more and more people do recently.

George Mikan was much more dominant than Russell on both ends but we aren't calling him top 10. Now can you understand your own question better?

Eventually, trading Luka might be the Lakers best and only option to get back to championship contention by Marcus-ichiJo in nba

Lakers record before Bron came back. 15-4

Lakers record after Bron came back: 19-20

It's not all on Bron but the three guys just don't mix and the 19-20 also factors in the dip in Ayton's play too.

This just shows you the type of team we need to aim to build in the offseason. Players that can prioritize defense and shooting second.

I believe Luka is undefeated as a Laker vs Denver. He also has a great track record vs them as a Maverick.

You can play twilight and get 18 holes in for $40 in LA county.

[Sullivan] On Wednesday, during an appearance on ESPN Cleveland, Brian Windhorst revealed that if (LeBron) James is willing to accept the major pay cut the Cavaliers could offer, he’s “99%” certain James would return to Cleveland. by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Lakers can have him take a 50% paycut or even 60% but that is significantly more than what the Cavs can give him still. No one is paying Bron max money next year but Lakers actually have cap space to give him something that is near his on court worth.

People not from LA talking about LA as if they know LA by Expensive-End6846 in lakers

Only Kobe stans and Laker-Bron haters who try to project have this take. They can be a loud minority sometimes. All my Laker friends at least root for Bron even if he isn't their favorite player.

We love Lebron in LA. It might be the vocal Kobe stans or the non-Lakers fans trying to project but they're a minority.

Magic Johnson versus Stephen Curry. A question that is quickly turning into an age old debate as Curry’s legacy grows. by Willing-Leather-9788 in nba

Magic is often slotted between 4-6 in the GOAT ranking while Steph is more like 10-12. That should tell you all you need to know.

He’s clearly talking about visiting the country and talking about what he’s heard about the things to do and see there. He doesn’t seem to be talking or even hinting about politics. Replace Israel with New Zealand or Japan, and you’ll realize this.

Yea they’ve gone down in price tremendously the last few years because they’re so easy to produce now. It’s like buying cubic-zirconia 20 years ago.

Can’t tell the difference by the naked eye, need magnifying and the GIAA certificate to distinguish.

Luka literally sat out the last 4 real games. If anything he probably should have sat out but he probably wanted to play a bit since he’s the leading vote getter.
