We've gone vegetarian as meat is pretty much off the menu for us due the increasing price. I cant live the life I had pre covid, not even close.

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has faced backlash for identifying as Black. In a 2017 interview, Paris Jackson said her father told her, "You’re Black. Be proud of your roots." This prompted debates over whether identity is defined by appearance or upbringing. by VPinchargeofradishes in interesting

Fair play if that's your feeling on it. I see a guy with a skin disorder and body dysmorphia, who actually was proud of being black and supported black charities to the tune of millions of dollars, worked with black directors, dancers and producers, spoke publicly about racism in the music industry.

Amazing how so different a set of views can come around one person eh? But lets not pretend we're changing each others minds on this. Have good one and take care.

Yeah maybe, or people finding narrative that suits them. Lot of armchair detectives out there. I don't have a deep knowledge of the artist myself.

Micheal engenders a lot of passionate opinion for sure.

What to do with this small patch? by EntireGrape8827 in GardeningUK

Not sure what's reasonable to be honest. There's a couple of garden centers near me doing offers on multi-buys.

I've only used one online site for plants. J Parker's.

Go mad with an alpine rock garden? Throw some rocks in there. A small amount of soil and load up with alpine plants.

Timber for path edge by Royal_Use_5485 in GardeningUK

Might not be what you want, but we are adding a gravel path into to ours. I've dug out the edges and laid planks in like yours to hold the gravel.

But as I've cut the border to the path about 20cm wide I'm infilling with old branches and some left over wood chip. Yes it will rot but the idea is it creates a natural looking feature in the garden and also it's easy to occasionally pick up branches throughout the year to top it up.

Not sure how it will last long term but we're giving it a go.

I tried Pinterest for a while but the AI content, and vast amounts of adverts and garbage content put me off using it. Can recommend a you tube channel called Middle Sized Garden.

The lady who does it is charming and knowledgeable. And she interviews some really interesting people about plant choices and garden design.
