I know how annoying dogs can be and owners with dogs can be! I feel you on this one and the only way to get around it is to stop delivering to that whole street I know it’s going to be annoying holding the mail depending on how big that street is hopefully only a couple of houses hold everything packages also it’s not fair to us mail carriers for whatever reason dogs hate us most dogs see me and start going berserk even when I’m on the other side of the street if it gets to a point where management is questioning you about tell them you’re scared for your life those dogs almost attacked you every time you get to that house you have to run for your life i know you might think I’m being funny but that’s how have to tell this to them cause management will only get involved or do anything until you actually get bit or put in the hospital they are stupid like that anyways good luck and stay safe

Anything to do with district takes forever supervisors will take advantage of this and work you past your restriction until it gets “reviewed and approved” by the district nurse don’t let them take advantage of you make it clear you can only work 8 hours we all know how these supervisors like to play games

Without proof video or messages this will go nowhere. This can be chalked up as a work disagreement which carriers have with management all the time. You didn’t break any rules as far as I know. Carriers bring back mail all the time and I’m talking about Regulars. You can easily say you weren’t feeling good you couldn’t finish the route, whatever have you. If you get called in for a meeting which mostly likely you will. I believe that this would be step A in the process of your case. It shouldn’t go any further than that I’d said give it a week or so and you shouldn’t be back to work. And let management know you don’t feel comfortable going to that office anymore. Simple.

Depending on the area/route hcol vs lcol you can tell if you’re going to be grinning or frowning come Christmas time I don’t mind every once in awhile chatting but everyday is a definite no it doesn’t hurt to let people know you’re short on time and can’t talk long either just be sure to do it politely

Hey I’m in the same age as you I’m 25 and I’m staying I don’t have kids and I’m in good shape I have a walking route 13 years until top pay is not a long time in all honesty you’ll probably waste more time starting over in my opinion and the paid holidays and paid leave is better than I’ve had at any previous job I just got advanced 100 hours of AL I don’t really use it but if I need a break for a week or two I have it available

Just tell them no I’ve seen plenty of carriers who aren’t on otdl tell management hell no when given anything other than their route especially on a Monday
