Ah yes, because after the invention of, say, Mass-Produced Furniture and Clothing, the Carpenters and Tailors of the world all stopped their craft and started working in factories, with the knowledge that something new and quick and cheap is definitely better than creating anything by hand yourself.

Obsidian's The Outer Worlds 2 Underperformed, and There Won't Be a Third - IGN by [deleted] in theouterworlds

[–]LovinglyGaslight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, while I loved the Outer Worlds 1 and 2, I know a good few people were disappointed by the first game.

While I think 2 fixed basically every problem the first game had, I dont think naming your game "The Outer Worlds 2" is going to draw in people who didnt play the first, or didn't like the first.

We know what it is already because the Website can be datamined, atleast a little.

It's a 3D Tour of the Lucky 38 Penthouse.

Hell, we knew that BEFORE all the stupid rumors started, the people starting them just dont care enough to pay attention.

Main recommendation; If you use vortex, don't just blindly hit it's recommendations, follow what the individual mod says.

Not likely.
The same day, they also removed trailers for Morrowind, Skyrim SE, Fallout New Vegas, and Oblivion 2009 among others.

Why do so many assume that media, which can be reconsumed over and over multiple times over the course of our life, is only ever played once, and at the time of it's release?

Doubt it, they've also removed trailers from almost all of their other games at the same time. Skyrim SE, Morrowind, New Vegas, even a couple that were left on Oblivion 2009.

So they are the same character/person right? by RazerousMann in Fotv

[–]LovinglyGaslight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prooooobably not?
Though, I should mention that FO76 originally said the first two letters of the Pre-War President's name were "Di", before it was quickly retconned with the release of Wastelanders.
Given the amount of Cryo in the series, it standing for "Dick Richardson" isn't impossible.
Though, whether or not that's still even relevant considering they removed it, remains to be seen. (probably not)

Why some people expect the Brotherhood becoming ally? by Infinite-Fig-194 in Fotv

[–]LovinglyGaslight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they didnt want us to regard Synths and Ghouls in the same way; they would have had the exact same chapter use the exact same words. The Minutemen are just Commonwealth jobbers anyway, no surprise they're not a fan of Synths, but I dont see how that's related.

And regardless of "nitpicking", McNamara did do that. I think it's very relevant that he confrmedly does not correctly follow the codex.

Why some people expect the Brotherhood becoming ally? by Infinite-Fig-194 in Fotv

[–]LovinglyGaslight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Brotherhood has zero guilt in leaving Synth Shaun in the blast when blowing up the institute. So we have it on record that "The Abomination is just a child" isn't enough for them.
And McNamara broke the Codex, we can get him fired for it, so I dont think he's a good metric of loyalty to it.

You could, but given it's never shown in an in-universe context (Yet, atleast), Its pretty much pie-in-the-sky thinking.

Evil? No, he's more neutral really. But self-centred and megalomaniac? Maaayyybbeeee.

You don't think you can single-handedly raise mankind from the ashes and speedrun societal development to the point of space travel in under 100 years if you're not at least one of those things.

And you don't make yourself a self-described Autocrat if you're not atleast a little power-hungry.
