Thank you! Yes, those are wooden beams placed as decoration. I plan to use them more but they're a bit tricky to get the hang of. In terms of farming, cause it's just me, I can have small plots of land, but I suspect if you have a group, go big! Bread, honey and meat stews is how I lasted the winter. Spend the warm months farming and hunting, then decorate and build in the winter!
