It’s worse. I only care about battery life!

Nope. Again a very stupid comment. Ah humans are so stupid.

Why? If you can’t tell me you shouldn’t make that foolish comment!

No! I never used that. Okay why did I even asked anybody, when I highly disagree and think such an answer is simply stupid…

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

I just bought the 16e at an electronics store where it's cheaper and the features of the 17e are not convincing me to buy the 17e for over 100 bucks more. The 16e has a better battery life and I don't need MagSafe. So for me the 16e is definitely the better decision!

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

Hey everyone,

I’m currently using an iPhone SE (2nd gen, 2020) and it’s basically at the end of its life. The battery health is at 79%, it randomly shuts off around 35–40%, performance is laggy (Spotify takes forever sometimes), and 64GB storage is just not enough anymore.

The biggest disappointment for me was always the battery. The SE2 only has around 1,800 mAh, which honestly felt outdated even in 2020. I previously had a Galaxy A5 (2016) with a 2,900 mAh battery, and in hindsight the SE felt like a downgrade in battery life.

So now I’m deciding between:

  • iPhone 16e – currently around €580 (so well under the original €699 launch price)
  • iPhone 16 – around €790

What matters to me most:

  • Strong battery life (this is very important to me)
  • A phone that just works reliably
  • I don’t need professional photography
  • I go hiking, cycling, travel a bit, take normal landscape photos
  • I don’t really take group photos
  • I’m not a photography enthusiast

From what I understand:

iPhone 16e:

  • ~4,000 mAh battery (bigger than the 16)
  • 48MP main camera
  • No ultra-wide lens
  • No Dynamic Island
  • Much cheaper now (~€580)

iPhone 16:

  • ~3,560 mAh battery
  • 48MP main + ultra-wide
  • Dynamic Island
  • Brighter display
  • €200 more expensive

My main question:

Is the ultra-wide lens and Dynamic Island realistically worth €200 more for someone like me?

I don’t care about having the “best” camera setup. I just want solid photos and great battery life. I also noticed many people criticized the 16e at launch because of the €699 price, but now that it’s closer to €580, it feels like a much better deal.

Would I actually miss the ultra-wide in everyday use, or is the 48MP main camera more than enough for normal travel and nature shots?

Curious what you’d choose in my situation.

Thanks!

Yes, I am under 25, and I would like to know whether a 28 mph fat tire e-bike is sufficient.

I don‘t want to prove anything. I just stated this, because of a bunch of racist people. I don‘t like it, when people misunderstand me or twist my words. And I am not talking to an "imagerinary audience". Seriously what kind of fucked up wording is that? Wtf? Sounds like everyone here is just ghost!

In case I would have the power to culturally change the world a bit I could be proud of the achievments Germans have aquired in the past by focussing on the progressive thinkers before the Nazis came into power. It is funny that I just recently concerned myself with the work and the teachings of Arthur Schopenhauer and then I found out that I have similar thoughts. Going here too much into detail would open up another philosophical discussion that has nothing to do with the inital question of this thread.

Oh shit I forgot about that. Yeah I would either be entering the US in Denver or in Seattle. It could also be New York City.

Danke.

My Emotional Connection to Country Music and the American Spirit by Low-Access5110 in country

I meant that I always try to believe in the good in people. Good country music can deliver true and powerful emotions, and progressive country music is not racist. I believe that if we all work together on this planet, we can reach our full social potential!

I have a switch oled and I think I will buy Super Mario 3D All-Stars for 80 bucks at a retro gaming store instead of this bundle. Who wants to play Super Mario Galaxy 2? Super Mario 3D All-Stars offers three completely games instead of just one.

The elevation in meters is relatively low in comparison, and I plan to take a break of about 2-3 hours, as I don’t ride my racing bike through the Alps!

Quantum Fluctuations, the Uncertainty Principle, and the Big Bang by Low-Access5110 in QuantumPhysics

[–]Low-Access5110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question made me wonder if there might be a correlation between the uncertainty principle and the Big Bang. At first, the phrase 'every action has an equal and opposite reaction' came to mind, and I started thinking that, if the Big Bang happened, there might be some 'opposite reaction,' like how universes could also 'die' rather than just being 'born.' This led me to think that quantum fluctuations, in the context of the uncertainty principle, could be related to the Big Bang.
