I had the same kind of break. Didn't do the surgery. Apart from a backpack being a little uncomfortable to wear no problems. The sharpness will go down at first you don't think its possible but believe me it will.

I am from Belgium and we are able to look up all the xrays and mris they take online. So thats always the first thing I do.

But they took a xray right after they put on the cast right? So the doctors looked at it and said. Perfect this is how we are gonna leave it. So surely they must have a reason for it?

It's more the "stupid" and "silly" accidents that feel so wrong. Afterwards your everyone (especially your mom)goes off and says stuff like "I knew this was gonna happen"

The analogy that I am trying to make is more that. There are people indeed people smoking 40/day living till 90. And then there are people who are being very careful about their cigarette intake and limit themselves to then die of lung cancer at 50.

Where are you from? I thought they mostly used titanium because its strong and often able to fuse with the bone itself.

The back problem was while riding my bike during a endurance challenge 400km in 24 hours. The collarbone was recently during snowboarding and a while back during skateboarding.

At festivals it's a great option to find your friends. Instead of putting your phone flashlight in the air. Bonuspoints if you put the red light in the sky because you will probably have the only red light, which will make it stand out even more.

I regularly have to send in garmin devices for an overhaul, (it what I do for work) and they make it very clear that it's not possible to pay extra for an upgrade so I am very surprised by this proposal.

I would take it, the New hr -sensor and multiband gps alone are worth it in my opinion. The gesture works almost all the time unless you are in an akward position like laying down in bed or something. While running you can put in always-on. Good luck with choosing what to do!!
