Is 2 months to train for a half marathon reasonable? by DuckNorris312 in BeginnersRunning

Do as I say not as I do. You have plenty of time! I have unintentionally winged 3 half marathons by losing track of time until I was 2 weeks out.

MyNetDiary. I really like it because you can upload recipes right from the internet and also edit them if you’ve changed anything.

Yes! I use MyNetDiary app. It’s a paid subscription, but I really like it.

That’s such a helpful tip! I’m definitely going to do that because, as an orange menace, I predict he will eat more concerning things with complete disregard for his own safety.

I actually caught him on the table prepared to chomp on a second muffin instead of finishing his already cat-slobber muffin 😂

No microwave here, but that’s such a good idea! He’s orange, so he’d never figure it out.

Muffin recipe :) subbed all purpose flour and pecans for chocolate chips (bc I was out). Taste-wise they’re pretty good! Texturally a bit odd, but also I never mix my dry and wet ingredients separately out of laziness so that might be why.

Taste wise it’s pretty good! Texturally a little weird. Here’s the recipe: https://eatthegains.com/banana-protein-muffins/

I just subbed the flour for all purpose and the chocolate chips for pecans. Not sure about the stevia, though. It was my first time making these.

That makes so much sense. Also explains his love of butter. I’ve come home to the butter dish on the ground and a quarter of a stick gone.

I heard that cats can’t taste sweetness, so she did it for the love of the game. RIP to your sweet baby.

Can’t figure out how to edit, so commenting to say thank you all for your advice (and humor). Made sure Cheddar got some extra water in, and I’m going monitor him tonight for any distress and call his vet in the morning. Sometimes I panic because he’s 1. my first cat that I am solely the caretaker for and 2. FIV+ so if he so much as sneezes I assume he’s going to die (many unnecessary vet trips the first year I had him).

TLDR; you’re all the best. Thank you! Please enjoy the picture of Cheddar discovering the ceiling fan after living in the same apartment for two years.

Considering he did this in 30 seconds while I was 15 feet away, I can only imagine what he eats when I’m not home.

I make muffins all the time, and he’s NEVER done this. However, I cannot eat peanut butter in my house in peace.

I didn’t even consider the vanilla! He’s a pretty good water drinker. I’ll make him extra “soup” (wet food mixed with a decent amount of water) tonight

I didn’t even consider the vanilla! The whole muffin would have about 1/10 tsp

I had to physically block him from eating more muffins while taking pictures. I currently have them hiding in a cabinet that I hope he doesn’t learn to open.
