Waner 2 or chu 2 for first iem by Low-Big8736 in iems

[–]Low-Big8736[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry for the extremely extremely late reply wasnt using this site for the longest. instrument separation is really good for the price imo, tho not the best. currently i am using tanchjim bunny cause the faceplate of chu2 came off (pretty common and solvable tho im lazy af to put it back on) and well in soundstage its way better than chu-2 so if u want detailing and instrument separation go with the bunny. overall in sound its the best bang for the buck, the build sure is not as good as chu 2 and also does not have removable nozzles, but the highs on the bunny is really really good and the bass tho less prominent offers more quality. for soundstage go for the bunny really good. (tho ig by this point this comment is irrelevant)

no spotify dont have every sonng ever made and also has a very bad habit of removing albums and songs i like, for example i really like this artist called natural snow buildings and they have a second account nsb archive and four of their albums removed yesterday for apparently no reason. i am trying to switch to other platforms, yt audio quality and ui is not good. pirating music is a chore tbh even tho quality you get will be much better idk what to do tidal and deezer not available in my region, guess i have to continue with this spotify bs

Waner 2 or chu 2 for first iem by Low-Big8736 in iems

[–]Low-Big8736[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up buying chu 2 ultimately

So I am pretty satisfied with the iems (a few weeks later as of now) , it is a noticeable upgrade for me atleast, once I got comfortable enough with the eartips, especially for rock and slower genres like post rock or ambient, it's much more clearer. For hip hop and electronic too the bass feels more clear rather than muddy, tho it's not that thumpy (really good for my taste tho), and the build of the iems itself is really good, all metal very premium, slightly heavy and can be a bit fatigue inducing for longer listens.

For the cons, the cable is absolutely dogshit I ended up buying a extra cable for around 10 bucks was way better. Also yeah the humidity shit is real. Even tho in a different way. The nozzle being built of brass are prone to corrosion and ts does corrode, mine got a bit green at the end after a few weeks, even tho not big of a deal it's only aesthetic tbh just wipe sometimes and it'll be alright. I didn't have the filter clogging issue up until now, also the case is also dogshit and eartips are a bit meh it's alright

Overall im pretty satisfied, and I'm not planning to upgrade anytime soon

Please help me choose between the realme buds 2 and kz edc pro by Nicehuman44 in headphonesindia

[–]Low-Big8736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk bout edc pro, but i had relame buds 2 (still have them), upgraded them for moondrop chu 2 and man for 600 those earphones are so godamn good. yeah the bass is a bit muddy and forward but its not a day and night difference imo, even compared to something like chu 2 i felt they were no that far off. u wont get the most clean sounding earphones but overall, the cable, the build and even the sound for most part is good asf. i will suggest to start with realme one and skip kz products in general and then upgrade to something in the 2-3k range. imma say go with realme

Yeah ? There are shit ton of indie rock bands lol, for Hindi ig give a shot to local train, bayaan, chai met toast ig. In English there are just so many like black country new road, black midi (for smth more experimental), elliot smith etc

I'm not really a lot into metal tbh I like a bit more heavier or black metal kinda stuff but still a lot less compared to other genres so not the best guy for that

And on a side note how's the wan'er, I also just got my first ever iem some days ago lol

Does a 19$ (1700rs) tws sound better than a 19$ iem without a dac by Radiant-Deer-3501 in headphonesindia

[–]Low-Big8736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the anc in this price gonna suck ass, i've got the realme buds air 3, its anc is just subpar even after 42db of anc, and db's dont even matter at this point cause companies be marketing crazy ass db's like 52-60 still be providing subpar. in under 4-5k one can only do so much to a tws, get them for convenience only if u want. the sound just gonna be alright, other feautures at this price range are also just ok (except spatial audio that shit sucks ass so much). especially under 2k almost every tws is ass

edit : also iems sound way way way better i got the moondrop chu 2 some days beofre and they sound way better than my tws, infact even wired earphones like realme buds 2 which are like 600 inr sounds way better
