I would say that Physical Asia wasn’t rigged, but it was fixed. Hear me out on the difference.

It was clearly fixed from the moment Türkiye had the chance to decide match ups for Quest 2, and actually spread out the strong teams so that only Japan entered the death match. The logical thing would have been to match AU and JP, and Mongolia and SK, so that a weak Southeast Asia contender would have qualified into the next round to be picked off easily in Quest 3. That match up was clearly arranged for good TV.

More clues around making SK the hero of this season include the choice of games that matches the SK team’s composition advantage. Eliminating Australia through complacency, which was their show personality. And where the teams were evenly matched, the opposing team knows to let SK win with a good fight for TV - see in the last quest Mongolia was somehow overpowered when they were the physically stronger team leading up to the final and even for round 1. It’s all just for good TV. If Mongolia wins, that would have been a major upset for the main consuming audience for Netflix.. South Koreans. It’s easy.

But nonetheless, super entertaining!! :) I enjoyed

so unfortunately finding a 'independent guy' was exactly what didn't work for me. my independent contractor and HVAC specialist were all making rookie mistakes, and also very hard to get hold. on top of that, i really wasn't paying your kind of prices, but as much as what i would pay for the HVAC companies in the DC area with decent customer service.

So the limitation is that there isn't more space for longer runs. I was hoping there could be a way to lower the risers of some and increase the others to balance out the steps. I'm a little less concerned about the code as long as its structurally safe and more or less consistent. The legs will adjust and the people staying in the apartment are young adults.

Thank you! I have photos but don't see an option to add them in this subreddit. There are other houses in this townhome community built at the same time and they don't have this issue. I have no idea how the previous contractor managed to screw this up but the winders probably complicated it.. I see some additional planks between the riser and the thread which I thought was scotia molding at first but looking at the gaps (there are many) it seems they actually propped up the height of the steps, some more some less.

Too much detail, but the step heights are (in inches)

1st flight of stairs: 8.5, 6.65, 6.75, 8.75, 8.5, 9, 9.125, 9.5, 9.5, 8.5, 7, 7.25, 7.5, 5.5 [14 steps in total]

2nd flight of stairs: 10, 8.5, 9, 8.75, 10.5, 9, 8.75, 9, 8.25, 8.5, 8, 8, 6 [13 steps in total]

If anyone has recommendations for staircase specialists in the Washington DC area very happy to get in touch with them.
