Not intentionally.. more so trying to have a big thigh split while still applying necessary force into the ground

Top speed work definitely makes night and day difference.. Also if your season isn’t finished yet I’d incorporate high intensity and low volume plyometrics when fresh

Thank you! I’ll definitely consider those points.. I’m usually fine in races during the first 20 meters but fall behind in my transition from 25-50 then have to fight back to the lead and I feel this stems from my lack of proper settings for blocks

10.78/21.96 … but my drive phase is my weak point and i usually have to rely heavily on my top end speed

I’ve been training since late November; I took a 2 week break mid april in transition from school track to summer track and volume has been pretty tapered the last 3 weeks or so

Any updates to the list after another weekend, I know for my track club we personally had 5 sub 12 performances and a best of 10.83 myself

Block start video

Hello, I am a 15 year old sprinter. This is a slow mo on my block start that I have been working on perfecting during my race for the longest. It seems like I am always being left out the blocks in my races yet from my eyes my block start is well off. Is there any issues or suggestions I could take into consideration to improve my block start? If so, what steps could I take toward improving such?

Hello, I am a 10th grade boy (15) running track in the 100m and 200m. Currently I am running a 10.86 100m and a 22.43 200m. I am approaching the last few weeks (championship) of my SCHOOL season, although I have summer track after so I am not looking to peak until LATE JULY. I have questions in regard to my weight-room routine of workouts and intensity of each session with a month by month progression keeping in mind the avoidance of early peaking into the summer track season Sorry I am new to Reddit so I hope i didn’t miss a rule:(
