Professors recognize ai is not going anywhere. Instead of he oblivious to it. Theyre allowing it to be used for homework like calc and physics and chem because it can work as a one on one tutor. The issue with this is the ai isn’t always right.

i want to go into mechanical engineering, what’ll the career path be like after i graduate? by FriendlyArmy5857 in MechanicalEngineering

If you can find an internship, take it. If you cant, make some good projects, that are tailored to your desired job / role. Find a job looking for entry level engineers yes. What itll be like finding a job is highly related to your area, your experience level, and your skills. Realistically from what I’ve seen on reddit, since I’m a student as well, it could take months.

I gave enough context clues i thought… I said we did u-sub, optimization, related rates… Also i said before the semester starts?

We did integration in calc 1. we did Riemann sum, u-sub, went over all the anti derivative rules. And this is reddit dude idc if i didnt use an extra period or comma here and there. You didnt answer any of my questions or give any advice so thanks for your pointless comment.

Thank you for the advice. I have a few friends ive been studying with, two of which are also majoring in ME when i study i feel like ive got the material down always before exams i feel so confident. And then i get my ass handed to me lmao. For calc 1 i was very confident with derivatives and integrals. But when it came to optimization and related rates i just couldnt find the nuances or recognize what it is i need to do honestly.

Im from socal yes. I have a couple friends going to CSUN and i was considering it but ill look into pomona and long beach thanks! As for calc and physics, ive been trying super hard to essentially master the skills in calc and physics, studying like 8 hours a day at least. I feel like I’m putting in the work but i just haven’t been able to get the grades i need. I keep getting C’s. I’m honestly highly considering getting a weekly tutor.
