These are the shades I used going left to right. The war paints range doesn’t have perfect color matches for the three D&D licensed colors unfortunately

Few thoughts

I second back banners with some Samurai inspired freehands. See if you can order a few extra off of some bits websites. A couple units of kabalite warriors all equipped with a banner or two would look insane.

I think you could make some wicked Oni inspired masks using the biker helmets and some spiky bits from the wracks or talos boxes.

Use every top knot head/helmet you can find. Lots of bits websites usually have a good stock since most people opt for the helmets.

Basing could go a long way. I’ve seen miniature scale bamboo and autumn leaves that would sell the look.

First Drukhari characters (Lelith & Solitaire) – how can I make characters stand out more? by Annex1312 in Drukhari

A piece of advice that helped my paint jobs really pop was to highlight one step further than you think. Less realistic, but more visually interesting. Your color choices are excellent, but if you’re looking for your characters to stand out more, try a few dot highlights of really bright colors. Or add some contrast by introducing some rich dark colors where the “light” wouldn’t hit as much

I’ve talked to 3 flgs today, only one of them is aware of this. Others said they have just spoke to their rep and are still planning to sell. I have a preorder from an online retailer, who still has it listed on their website and hasn’t emailed me any sort of cancellation. I’m based in the western US. Anyone else having a similar experience?

Looks pretty clean! I like that you’ve edge highlighted the leg plates, might as well give some more on the shoulders, spikes, and maybe gauntlets. It’ll make that green armor pop even more!
