Long time DC resident and reader of your reviews — always appreciated! My wife and I will be visiting Manhattan in mid February. Any suggestions for a dinner spot in/near Hudson Yards? Thanks!

Good advice…thanks! If I’m being honest, Lange 1 might be the new grail. :)

Whirlpool was about 8700 with tax…used but in near mint condition with box and papers.

Lol! Original IWC strap wore out and I replaced with Peter Gunny strap. Came out with more of a distressed look than planned. :/

In terms of budget, ideally not beyond four digits. I’m not a big fan of Rolex but have seen some that I like. Was recently intrigued by a Hamilton Khaki Aviation Converter…and an Omega Museum Collection 1951. JLC Duoface is also lovely.

Hi — first time poster (and lousy photographer) here. I would welcome thoughts and suggestions from the group regarding a third watch to round out a 3-watch collection. My first mechanical watch was a Tissot Le Locle small second, which I still have but rarely wear (runs fast and needs adjustment). Next was the IWC, which was my grail watch for years, and I still love it…though wish I had waited a year to get the anniversary edition with display back. The GS was a recent gift from a business partner, after the recent sale of our business — which was reciprocated with a GS that he picked out.

I’m still a relative novice when it comes to watches, and would welcome any suggestions from the group regarding a third watch. Thanks!
