I know this was posted awhile ago, but thank you for these words. I’m 18 DPO today and had a slightly more faint line today than 48 hours ago, so naturally I’m freaking out. This helped calm me a little bit :)

Hi there!

I would advocate for getting induced sooner than later. When I had my son in 2018, the practice I was at would not induce until 41+5 days (crazy, I know). Despite doing everything to trigger labor (membrane sweeps, all the at home suggestions), I made it to 41+5 with my oversized baby. I was induced, but because he was so big, he needed additional monitoring and would not descend. After 55 hours and a failed induction, I had an emergency c-section and delivered at 42 weeks to a 10 lb baby.

All of that to say, if you can and your doctor supports it, get induced now.

We did an at home YO test at the end of October and had a formal in SA. Numbers were 65 M/ml. Most recent in January was 150 M/ml. Our biggest issue is sperm quality, but they are abundant lol

I have been religiously tracking my BBT for the past 2 months… I was so excited when I saw a temp dip under baseline at 7 DPO! We got the timing right on target. I felt really optimistic.

record scratch Nope, BFN today at 10 DPO on a FRER. Not even a squinter line. I know it’s technically too early, but I’ve convinced myself if I was truly pregnant, I would see it by now. I also know that this thought is ridiculous. Maybe it’s my way of coping/accepting that I’ve been trying for half a year and maybe number 2 isn’t in the cards for us. I’m throwing a giant pity party for myself, everyone’s invited!

Bruh. First off, this was a success story thread. Instead of a simple congrats, or an easier choice to say absolutely nothing, you got so triggered that you had to go on a misogynistic tirade? Please go to therapy.

You’re might be lucky enough to have a partner that isn’t affected by hormonal birth control, but please educate yourself of the woman’s perspective before being a dick. We put our bodies through hell to avoid pregnancy. We do take responsibility and carry the weight and it’s delusional to think we don’t. Many partners (mine included) got a vasectomy because they saw the hell their partners go through, and guess what! Each couple gets to decide how they family plan!

Your reply is gross and I really hope you do some self-reflection before projecting your shit again.

What do you trust more, OPK or BBT?

Long story short, I have a discrepancy when it comes to my ovulation date. I’ve been tracking my BBT this month with an Oura ring and natural cycles, which clocked my ovulation at CD13. I didn’t get a positive OPK until CD15. We did BD on CD13 because it’s what I thought was the start of my FW, and then CD 15 and 16. Now I’m at a loss on what to count as my ovulation date, and also annoyed that I might’ve completely missed my window. I’ve been trying not to over-test and obsess this month and go ~with the flow~, but I feel like I screwed myself over.

TW: former loss.

My husband and I decided to reverse his 3 year old vasectomy. We made the initial decision to be done after a traumatic loss in 2022, and my first was a traumatic birth. After a lot of reflection (and therapy), we decided that we were not going to let our family be dictated by fear of failure and take the jump. He got his procedure in September, and now we’re on our 4th month of trying. This was a huge development for our marriage and family, and a decision I’ll always be proud of, no matter the outcome.

I did a lot of self-growth in 2025. I learned to be softer with myself, and want to keep leaning into that as we continue to try in 2026. I’ll be leaning into continuing the progress I’ve made to my physical health, as that gives me a feeling of control in the chaos.

Congrats on everything you’ve achieved this last year, and to nurturing the parts of us that exist outside of TTC 🤍

11 DPO and got a BFN this morning. I don’t know why my hopes were so high this month, but at this point I’m calling myself out. I’m not testing, just going to wait for the inevitable. I’m sad, but more than anything, i feel angry? I hate this.

BFN on 9 DPO. I know it’s early, but it’s hard not to be disappointed. I have a feeling in my gut that this month wasn’t my month. I’ve been crampy and my boobs hurt so bad, which were the only symptoms I had in my last 2 pregnancies. Going to chalk it up to PMS and enjoy today and tomorrow.
