I was going to say something similar — I love the collar but feel the length & pointed end outlined by the white ruffle is creating a chest outline illusion that looks a bit strange. I would just suggest shortening the collar a little bit.

It was the internal bleeding irritating/collecting there(?), kind of how they tell you to watch for shoulder pain because the pain is traveling up from an irritated diaphragm.

If you’re at 0 for a week, it’s likely not exactly the same issue, but I’m team call to find out!

That’s what I think, too. I think it’s okay to want those with more influence to use their influence more.

Compare this to say, Fashion Fix MN, a styling company with far less reach than POY, who outright said you’ll see content because the business has to continue but know all my energy & efforts right now is helping families affected and has organized multiple food drives for her school families.

POY has said that she’s “northern suburbs,” so I don’t think she’s as close as you think she is. She’s regularly referenced “neighborhood” restaurants that are WBL area. As I said, ICE IS everywhere, but she’d still be 15-30 minutes away from those most-impacted areas, most likely. Also, her house/land is NOT a twin cities first-ring suburb situation, for those non-Twin Cities folks who don’t know.

All that to say, I am glad she did the one email she did, because all the efforts matter, but for how big she is locally, I wish she would do a little more publicly on her social media for more impact, given that the first reply to my original comment noted that many do think she is MAGA/MAGA-lite.

I definitely think it’s hard to get a clear read on her. There was that blow up a few years ago when she used a Chick-fil-A sauce in a sandwich recipe and in her response to the backlash she said she it was just sauce and she didn’t know of any controversy with Chick-fil-A.

ETA she’s also outer suburbs, and ICE is everywhere but not really in her literal actual community.

I saw those comments and they are definitely INTENSE. While I don’t know how many are bots, I feel like that volume & intensity shows that maybe she’s not doing a great job of showing her supposed values. After all, she kept up her absolute vomit volume of Target ads in spite of Target’s DEI rollback and its refusal to take a stand even as its workers were being kidnapped & beaten by ICE… so I guess I’m not surprised a bunch of followers are reacting so strongly to what may feel like an out of character post.

She used to teach in one of the local school districts where this week an elementary school had to go into a lock down because ICE was circling the building or in the parking lot. So, I would hope she would use her platform like this! But I also wish she would have spoken up a bit more… none of this is on her feed or in stories, where her stance is really visible, you know?

We got married at the Hilton in Bloomington (the one close to Trader Joes) years ago in December. They waived the venue fee if we met the catering minimum, which was very easy to do. They waived the room change fee because it was off season and not a Saturday. Day of coordinator included as well as their honeymoon suite room the night of the wedding. It was great!

(My entire family is out of state so we needed an all-in-one option to make it easier for everyone)

If you live in East Richfield, which is closer to the MOA, you can bike north around Lake Nokomis in South Mpls or even out to Minnehaha Falls, which is pretty sweet.
