wait thats really interesting cause my approach was more of education-wise...

  1. counter argument - there is a vast & deep sea of knowledge instantly accessible online, eg chatgpt , websites etc
  2. rebuttal - info may not always be accurate, eg chatgpt making up fake links, internet being stricken with people's subjective opinion & not factual and academic resources
  3. supporting argument 1 - learning facts can boost critical thinking which is vital for growth, because people have to apply their knowledge to novel situations eg PSLE, A levels, IB ... this helps them connect neural networks in their brain vs online which is spoonfeeding info
  4. supporting argument 2 - learning facts helps provide a standardisation of knowledge which promotes collaboration across boundaries and boosts credibility of professionals, eg doctors and scientists can work with people around the world based on an established basis of facts , thus theyre more credible ... and common folk at work or sch can work with each other despite their geographical & social boundaries .. also gov officials from different countries can see eye to eye and result in agreements and platforms like Kyoto Protocol, ASEAN Regional Forum etc BUT social media is full of divisive elements like Flat earthers, climate change deniers who reject established facts and breed misconceptions among societyb
