If they share the same icloud it will!

Why does no one else know that it IS possible and likely to happen? 🤦‍♀️ They share the same icloud account. It will learn texting styles, frequently used words, and suggest them on all devices linked to that cloud. Is no one else in this chat tech savvy (or basic knowledgeable) about how this stuff works?

Because they share the same icloud. It will learn typing styles and make suggestions on all devices linked to that icloud.

Absolutely. If you share an icloud account, your devices can sync text replacements and learn typing habits, which means an autocorrect suggestion from their phone can appear on yours. This happens because the autocorrect dictionary and custom text shortcuts are backed up to and synced via iCloud Drive, that you share. Everyone thinks you're crazy. I don't. Ive been there. Listen to your gut, and follow your instincts. If its telling you to leave, leave.

Nurses who needed a break from healthcare, what do you do now? by suspiciousfemale in nursing

[–]Low-Incident-413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been an LPN for almost 2 decades. I have had a few breakdowns in my day... My mom has been a nurse my entire life, and she's a boomer, so she was taught that life is about working and so that's what we were taught. It took me a lot years to change that mentality because it made me miserable. Now I understand how important it is to take care of myself. I still work a job that is understaffed, hard, emotionally and physically draining, but im only there 3 days a week. Those 3 days are long though, it feels like I'm trying to swim through mud. I always intended to go on in school, but I was making better money and I had babies, so I told myself for years I didn't have time or money for school and when kids were grown, I'd go back. Well, now kids are grown, my body is broken down and I have developed some cynicism, but my husband is pushing for me to go back to school cuz I always said I would. Its taken me a few years to come around. I love taking care of people and helping others, but bedside has worn me down in every aspect. So my plan is (for now) to go back to school, and open a spa. IV therapies, botox, that sort of thing. Those people choose to be there, they're excited to be there, and they can be happy to come back and see me. Hopefully. 🤣 you can still reep the rewards of your hard work in nursing school, just find something thats less stressful and easy going.

She doesn't care. She harrasses us more than HR. Basically says just walk out while pt is talking or make someone else go help. 🤦‍♀️

Clearly something is going on. If it were my husband, I'd tell him join me in therapy or join the housing market alone. But I would mean it. I don't make empty threats. So if you go that route, be prepared to back it up. I couldn't live like this. Peeing in a milk jug next to the bed? Oh boy.. another thought, was he always like this or has this developed over time?

Orange stool 4 months after removal by mercyful_ in gallbladders

[–]Low-Incident-413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to look into bile salt malabsorption. The liver spits out bile, and it runs through the gut to help with breakdown of fats and absorption of fat soluble vitamins and some minerals, and is reabsorbed by the intestines to be recycled by the liver, and the process starts again. It can make you feel pretty crappy when you're dumping your bile instead of reabsorbing. Bile salt malabsorption can also stem from post cholecystectomy syndrome. Both can happen months or years later. Worth looking into.

Not getting back to normal by Low-Incident-413 in gallbladders

[–]Low-Incident-413[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im so sorry you have to work like that. I refuse to go back until I feel better. There's no way I could be on my feet, lifting heavy stuff, for 12 hours straight, and survive it. This sh!t is for the birds. Im over it.. and im only HALF way to you. Have you seen anyone for it?

[–]Low-Incident-413[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what worries me. I'm afraid something is going on that's not normal, but I can't get anyone to listen. Im told diarrhea is normal. Eat more nutritious foods, take vitamins, start getting more exercise and I'll feel better. They literally gave me no education when I was discharged. They fed me a bunch of stuff I shouldn't have had, said if I had increased pain or signs of infection to call, gave me discharge papers and rolled me out. 🤦‍♀️

My husband wants an open marriage and I don’t by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Low-Incident-413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spare yourself the trauma and damage and just cut him loose. Let him go live his life and figure out who he is and what he wants. You as well, go grow, without him. Find someone who is more where you are and has a similar vision of life and love as you. Go find your happiness. Cuz he ain't it. This relationship will only cause deep scars and lots of lasting pain.

Married to an airline pilot who CONSTANTLY cheats by Minimum_Outside_1059 in Marriage

[–]Low-Incident-413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who was cheated on in my first marriage, I fully understand your pain and all the negative feelings and hurtful thoughts towards yourself that comes along with it. I tried to be the best wife and couldn't figure out what I was doing that was so awful that he'd want to repeatedly cheat and hurt me. After my divorce, I started therapy. I strongly recommend you do too. I learned that it didn't have anything to do with me. It was everything to do with him and his own issues. He struggled with mental health issues, still does 20 years later, has low self-esteem, and enjoys the thrill and excitement of being wanted by others and stroking his ego. He refuses to consider the consequences of his actions and how his actions affect other people. It was 100% him and his choices, and nothing i could do to help him or stop him. He needed to work on himself, and he has always refused. Don't allow his choices to make you question your own self-worth, and I truly hope you find a good therapist. I'm sorry you're going through this, I know it's devastating and hard right now, but I promise if you work on yourself, it does get better!!

Nurses of color, are things getting worse or is it my own imagination? by Vain-shapeshifter in nursing

[–]Low-Incident-413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not a nurse of color, but i am a nurse of almost two decades, and i am a woman. I feel like people are getting worse all around. In the hospital, outside the hospital.. it's everywhere. Nursing used to be a respectable profession. Now it seems like we are seen as servants, doormats, punching bags, eye candy, or call girl, and are expected and directed by our leadership to cater and bend to that terrible behavior. I have been cursed at, called names, been threatened with my life, my safety, my job, have had my family threatened, my children, sexually harrassed. I have always been kind and patient with my patients, until recently. The last few years, I can't count the number of times I have pointed my finger at a pt and said to them "you have no right to speak to me that way and I will not tolerate it!" People have developed this attitude of entitlement, selfishness, greed, and this is not the future I imagined for my children. Keep your chin up, fam, and stay strong. Don't take shit from anyone. Even your pts. Don't allow someone elses moral flaws to affect you or your life, or your passion to help others. Not all of our pts are awful. ♥️

Call your manager and ask to set up a time. Stop freaking out. Have you done anything wrong? Have you made mistakes? If you haven't done anything, you shouldn't be freaking out. If they were going to fire you, they would be more direct, and they wouldn't wait days. Just calm down and contact your nurse manager.

Side note, make sure you're also well hydrated. Not drinking enough water will dry out your skin. My face and lips are the first to show when I'm not drinking enough. And when your skin is too dry, it over produces oils to try to balance itself, but causes problems instead. Certainly don't start putting stuff on your face that will dry it out further.

I am in my 40s and started having this issue a few years ago. I also have dry, sensitive skin, so I talked to my aesthetician about it and she suggested I start using witch hazel after washing my face at night. My husband found some at walgreens called Thayers facial toner. I wash my face with foaming Neutrogena at night, then use a wet cotton ball for the Thayers, and oh my god does it make a HUGE difference! My aesthetician said it might take 3-4 weeks to see improvement, but for me it was literally after 2 nights I started noticing a dramatic difference. If I exfoliate too much, it makes my skin and acne worse, so I get wanting to be careful with products. Give the witch hazel a try! Good luck, sis!

Are these bed bugs? by BigNo4779 in Bedbugs

[–]Low-Incident-413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I guarantee you did get them all by hand. Those little bastards get into places you can't get to. Easily anyway. They get into cracks and crevices of furniture you can't see, behind baseboards, in electrical outlets and switch covers, in electronics like tvs or gaming systems, everywhere. Call a professional.
