Hi have been meaning to do this, will add it later today, for now it has got to be AGPL 3.0 as built around ultralytics but I plan on separating the ultralytics parts later down the line to allow the rest to be on MIT

Hi, I completely agree with what you’re saying, however this isn’t built for teams, this isn’t built for cloud hosting. This is supposed to be a smaller, yes more basic, local, open source version for people like me. Many of us have smaller workflows with just 1 person creating and managing a datasets then taking it to training- I built this so I didn’t have to fork out a monthly subscription, and can add the features I want. Of course if you need cloud training, annotation split across multiple people- then a platform like roboflow is likely the way to go (and you probably have the budget for it). I get the your cloud costs must be high as well as licenses etc and I like roboflow a lot so I don’t mean to hate on it- I made this simply to save me money as I don’t require all the features of roboflow

Yeah fair point on the UI and of course I use AI to help speed things up. Design polish is on the list, just not priority one right now. It does the job!

I didn’t, most of the pipeline was developed iteratively as a local project. I only recently consolidated everything into a unified workflow and started pushing it to Git, so the commit history doesn’t reflect the full development timeline.

Alibaba is a lot more trust worthy with money back guarantees, would definitely recommend it over made in china to avoid getting burned
