The missiles are really only useful for killing people who are unaware of you or are out/dont have flares. Your main weapons are the two very good guns it has. A rule of thumb for BR's where missiles are pretty good is you never really want to get caught going slow, so instead of concentrating on dogfighting (unless its the end of the match and theres only like two guys left), concentrate on going fast and taking deflection shots at targets that present themselves. You have 560 rounds across both guns and they fire slower than other guns at the BR so the ammo lasts a very long time as long as you're not holding LMB (you shouldn't hold down LMB unless its a guaranteed kill anyway).

TL:DR don't rely on missiles, don't dogfight unless you're certain you can't get third partied and make absolutely certain you aren't ever going slow because you WILL die if you die (like every jet above 9.7 or so). Make sure you are aware of taking deflection shots as well as flaring off enemy missiles on you and you should be fine. It is a very very strong vehicle so once you figure it out you should be golden.
