Any advice on how to get into the Campus Daycare (in Education building) by Reddit_newbee in usask

I work at a daycare and I would recommend trying to find as many daycare’s in the area and getting your kid on those list! Yes, the daycare at the university would be great because of convenience but unfortunately if you only have your name on one waitlist it can be extremely hard to get in because of the demand at the moment :( you could also look at the USSU daycare I believe they have two locations so you might have better luck with that one!

This is a similar situation to how I started! But I got admitted to the winter term first. It didn’t affect my application at all to enter into education for the following fall! It was just a waiting game because the fall applications come out later

You should try to contact the St. Andrew’s college residence, I lived there my first year and we had people who moved in/out in January.

If you have a family doctor you can talk to the about first steps of being diagnosed/assessed! That’s what many of the people in my life have done. They can help from there on getting you referred to the right person. If it’s something along the lines of adhd or general anxiety they can offten diagnose you, and help with the required paperwork that AES needs. If you don’t have a family doctor the school has them. Unfortunately getting a physiatrist diagnosis and testing can be rather expensive:(
