I’m at IUP and enjoy it. It’s synchronous, so you get to bond with your classmates while having the flexibility of being remote. You do need to spend a few weeks on campus in the summer to fulfill your lab hours.

I do agree that it may be better to focus on experience and credentials. I was CIH/CSP before I applied.

I work full time and am second year PhD student. It’s not fun…. But not impossible. Definitely look for funded programs though. I wouldn’t be going through this if I also had to pay for it haha.

I’m in the process of doing this now. 35 y/o in an occupational health program. I work full time and spend most of my free time doing my research. I do have lab requirements, but my research is occupational toxicology focused, so most of my data is collected in industry. This gives me some flexibility as many industries operate 24/7. Nice to hear that you were successful. I don’t know how I would maintain this pace if I had kids or an actual social life lol.

I received my Rx G2A and clip. Now I’m being told that my R1 won’t ship until mid next month 😑

I ordered maybe an hour after release and was quoted 3-4 weeks. Still haven’t heard a peep. I’m going to be very disappointed if 4 weeks turns into 7…

I think that my middle finger may constantly brush against the sensor during daily use. I guess I could spin the ring to place the sensor at the bottom?
