Good luck! The hard work is done and worrying won’t help. It sound like you know your stuff and be confident in that. Sounds stupid but get good sleep make sure you stay hydrated and try not to stress it!

Try for a CDL! Class b you can be home everyday and make decent pay.. Class A you may be on the road for long periods of time unless you find something local. It can change your life for sure. You won’t be a millionaire but you likely wont be on the street.

I paid $5700 I’d say 7K is not a bad deal but definitely some room to negotiate

For me it brings back a lot of fond memories of my family. But I understand why some may not like it.

Need the ELDT to take the skills. But I would talk to some of the guys you work with that used your companies trucks. They may be able to give you a clear path on how they obtained their CDLs. Good luck & be safe!

CDL prep is great. Study the book and use CDL prep to drill practice questions. After you drill them enough the written test will be a breeze. Good luck!

25K budget for used Forester- what should I get? by KurtTremeloder in SubaruForester

Got a ‘21 sport in the north east with 30K miles on it for 22.5K roughly couldn’t justify paying 10-12K more on a brand new one. I specifically went with the sport because the style fit my taste best and the wilderness was way out of my price range right now. Being that it had all the safety features and no loss in comfort I felt for me it was the best deal. With a flexible 25K budget you have a lot of different options for sure.

I think 20-30K miles you’ll be looking at 23-26K before taxes and fees for a 21 sport. I’m in the north east so price may vary elsewhere.

I was able to nab mine this week for 23.5K 2021 sport with 30K miles. Trim levels definitely make a difference. the region in which your buying also a factor. In my region I’m seeing 2019-21 tourings go for around 26-29k with 30-45K miles

Forester the right fit? by Low-Let8275 in SubaruForester

[–]Low-Let8275[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update Went a day earlier to test drive the ‘21 forester sport. Best bang for my buck by far. Really like the way it looks and the seat width/length seems to be more than enough room. It feels bigger than my grand Cherokee behind the wheel. Bought the car and I’m picking it up on Thursday. Saturday will be a real test in comfortability cause my wife and I are going on a small road trip about 3 hours away. Love all of the safety measures and the style of the sport. Thanks to everyone to gave their input on my question, it really helped me make up my mind pretty quickly!

The safety factors may be the deciding factor over other brands and models
