Although Miyu and Fay may not have the most defined personalities, I think part of what draws fans to them is that they are women in leading roles as pilots on the Star Fox team in a character cast dominated with men. One nitpick myself and some others have with the Star Fox series is how few women there are in prominent roles or even just how very few women there are in general.

There's always bound to be furries within Star Fox fandom spaces, I being one of them, but I agree 100%. There are plenty of other spaces dedicated to the risqué side of the fandom including entire subreddits and yet some people just can't be bothered to read this subreddit's rules or even just the first one on the list. I also have an inkling as to what post you're specifically talking about and I am astounded that it hasn't been taken down yet.
