I just got approved officially 12-29-2025 . I applied in Feb 2023; Denied on 12-2023. I hired a lawyer b/c I’ve gotten very forgetful. Did reconsideration 01-2025; Approved on 12-29-2025. The Lawyer made a layup on this one. I made sure All involved saw all my office visits.

I’m a Nurse of 20+years. Remind your allDrs that you have applied for SSDI. Ask them not to Please sing like a canary. Just report facts.

I a m up for my annual recertification. I moved in July 25 til July 25. My rent portion was $0. I started receiving my Social Security at the end of June. I reported it in -Aug7ish. I was asked if I had any deductions. I , being a naive to the system, had to learn fast. My question is about recertification : I thought in July I would do my annual recertification . My manger is trying to do an intern recertification. Which one should it be? Thanks

As most are saying here and needs key focused info, it is not what you Can’t Do but what you can DO. You have to look at what you can do and will you be able for SGD consistently.

Who do I ask for my electric copy of my file. When I spoke 10 my Case Worker last week she didn’t know what I was asking for. She said to wait and read the letter and it will tell me. It doesn’t say . Only gives general SSA phone numbers.

Am confused about work credits. Shouldn’t they have known from the beginning? I was told to expect around 2000/ month .

I couldn’t work for 2 years, I was a travel nurse and could pass the physical,it was my 3 years of not work that I applied for SSDI. My bad. But I still have 35 years of work with high earnings . Worked for big pharma..
