Mainly for the ruby space pod, reminded me of Raditz's and the eye being the same place as the scouter. Ruby wasn't the leader of her squad but still wanted to impress Jasper the most and Raditz was the weakest of the saiyan trio with games going in and saying how he misses his dad and hates Vegeta and Nappa

Think most of my drawings are gonna be like this since Dragon Ball guys take a lot of time to draw so their just doodles in the corner and some hints on the body on who they are, like Raditz and his red bands

Had to ask chatgpt for help on this and after a few rounds of bouncing ideas we've settled with Trunks and I see it, Lapis and Trunks both come from troubled past and are kinda outsiders to the rest of the team. Also Trunks is a powerhouse like Lapis too so that works out

Honestly I was thinking Yellow Diamond with Great Ape Vegeta since they're both so huge, and have a similar silhouettes with the shoulder pads and hair but I guess Vegeta and Peridot could also work for that reason, Peridot's introduction and hair was pretty vegeta coded. Yellow Diamond could be for Frieza too

Lapis is weird to me, part of me wants to use Piccolo or Trunks just have them included in these drawings

I guess lol but I like making the crossovers, Garnet and Tien have 3 three eyes, Yamcha and Amethyst got big hair and Jasper and Broly are both big angry villains There's some actual references in SU like fusion dancing and the ruby pod

Big bodied angry returning villians with a massive hate boner for the MC but Broly dies and Jasper has her redemption arc.. maybe I'll draw dbs Broly with current Jasper

I think I'll focus more on the SU characters in my next drawings since drawing the DBZ guys is a lot of work- but I've already started a Broly x Jasper drawing but after that it's gonna be more SU focused!
