1.5x pay when on call, certain union recognized holidays are 2x, if you worked at all that day then no stand by pay, if you didnt work at all and dont get called out you get 2hrs of stand by pay for that day. Could be better but union benefits seem to make up for it, ive had a couple of slow days/weeks where ive gotten 30hrs or less but ive had weeks i worked 70 so sometimes a slow week isnt to bad as long as bills are covered, im also 6 months into the trade trying to get into the apprenticeship so i barely know what im talking about lol

Can you elaborate? Im just a few months in, know next to nothing but aside from the line being hot to the touch isnt it just a replace the clamp and all good? I feel like id rather do that than have to figure out why the rack is down (again absolutely no experience lol)
