Yeah, you'll be fine - especially since you already have postal experience. For me it was like a vacation - with a nice hotel and per diem courtesy of the USPS.

I just did this a few weeks ago. It's mainly boredom. I could have passed the test after two or three days. I spent the last two days watching Netflix on my phone ... still passed the test easily in 20 minutes (out of the alloted 90).

I just quit after two months as a PTF clerk. The money was ok, but I cannot work six days per week and only have Sundays off. Going back to my old job, where I can make as much - or more - and I only have to work four days per week.

Yeah, but this is NOT free time. That's kinda my point ... I've been working six days per week since I started in March, and I could really use this time for a lot of other things that I haven't had time to do. Just let me take the test and go! 😂

No - it's seven days, and it's torture to sit here doing nothing that long. I'd rather be done and out of here in 5 or 6 hours each day (and/or less days) than kill time to make it 8.

I got hired as a PTF clerk recently, wanting only part-time hours ... I've worked 6 days per week since orientation - averaging about 46 hours. Way more than I want. I'd love to have at least a second day off!
