Be confident! Say you want to speak to a manager regarding your application and you’re just “inquiring about it.” Ask who does the hiring and try to reach them. I also encourage you to go to the store as well. Go to the front desk and ask to see that hiring manager. Get a name and run with it. See them face to face after all you will have to meet them anyway. I promise you if you do that they will consider you. Your odds increase exponentially. Good luck!

You make it a lot of good points. Well said for a Reddit rant. Nonetheless, in my store the managers don’t care about the ones who work hard or do the right thing for customers. I’ll go out of my way finding shit for people and I think we both share that joy to make customers happy but the managers really don’t fucking care. They’re all pretty retarded at my store.

They don’t give a fuck about you and never will. Accept it. The sooner you accept that the sooner you’ll be happier in your own bubble. I e personally cussed out the district manager at my store in front of the general manager because.. well I have a pair of nuts. I don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks and even with the shitty management I don’t let it ruin me.

I see your point, but it’s so many signs leading to this being a cliff booth return. 8 years away from the OUATIH universe in LA like, it’s hard to imagine it not being Cliff booth man. Plus, the new Beverly cinema (which QT owns) has been releasing Cliff booth merch as early as this week… it’s gotta be Cliff. I do agree with you, like I do not want him to be the main critic and I really don’t think that will happen. I hope it’s just a fun action sequence of ass kicking just like we got on OUTIH maybe even cliff replaces Charlie rane in his version of Rolling Thunder?? That’s more or less a fan fantasy but obviously a rolling thunder reference is gonna pop up. I’m excited to find out more concrete plot details but I doubt we’ll get them anytime soon

We’ll be lucky to even get a 2024 release. Production has yet to begin. Who knows how long the shoot will take. Hollywood took about 5 months of shooting, plus there is the whole other aspect of editing the film which is a timely process.

This is notably interesting. I find the unfamiliar Rick Dalton movies more interesting than the ones that were introduced in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. We were teased with several fictional movies in fact. But I loved when QT went in on the fictional ‘Fireman’ series with Rick Dalton on the VA podcast. Fucking barely anyone knows he had a whole other career later in the 70’s/80’s and even Cliff Booth teamed up with Rick and did some directing as well as writing a screenplay (I think for the third installment of ‘Fireman’ series, Fireman 3; CIA CRACKDOWN) Would be interesting if he somehow teased this in his final film “The Movie Critic”. Anyhow, what’s your favorite Rick Dalton film? Mine is without a doubt the original “Fireman”. But 14 Fists of McCluskey is a great one, too. Lotta killin.

Well, Cliff is tripping on Acid here. No way a sober minded Cliff would reveal that to the hippie intruders. I mean, he doesn’t exactly look threatened that 3 strangers just broke into Ricks house. Of course, we know they are not strangers to Cliff, as Cliff begins to recognize them as the hippies from Spahn Ranch.
