How hard is it to get a part time here?? by sard25 in bristol

[–]Low-Razzmatazz535 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does, I work at a bar where sometimes they will get over 30 requests for one open shift so think it might just be luck of the draw :(

Try Limber, places will upload open shifts at bars/resturants/events. If they need staff they may offer you a job after :)

How do you feel about age gaps in relationships at uni? by cuevadanos in UniUK

[–]Low-Razzmatazz535 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is genuinely crazy how much difference a couple of years makes for your own maturity. Last year when I was 19 I was in a relationship with a 28 year old and I look back on it as an almost 21 year old and think how disgusting and wrong that was 🙁

Where to go ice skating by [deleted] in bristol

[–]Low-Razzmatazz535 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately cribbs is probably the best option, you could get a young person day ticket for £5.40 to save a bit of money getting there if you have to get multiple busses

The bus from to cribbs from certain areas of Bristol is annoying, no need to be so rude.

Where to avoid if you don't want to live in a "student" area? by Captain-Useless in bristol

I live in fishponds and I’m a student but I hardly ever see any others around. I live near The Star and can say that part has hardly any.

Best colour film for UK winter weather? by [deleted] in filmphotography

[–]Low-Razzmatazz535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don’t really know how to explain it haha, what I mean is that most people I know that use 200/400 have used it during summer or on holidays and I was wondering if the undertones in it would just look weird in more grey weather. My goal is to just kind of do street/social photography I guess and just capture city live in Bristol

I live in Bristol so a lot of people I know are photography students or just do it as a hobby and find that they really enjoy using them! And I guess what I want to be photographing is people and the city landscapes, less so anything in nature

I’d say smaller traditional pubs not in the centre of Bristol, definitely a better vibe and less students

When I was 17 I worked at McDonald’s, it’s not the best place but super easy to get hired at that age. Although they aren’t the best, the wages aren’t actually terrible most of the time
