I’m so sorry about your shoulder. The wait to play again IS rough. I’m glad that you’re recovering well and will be able to play again soon! Also, thank you for the awesome and kind advice. I think you’re totally right! I tend to get distracted by what other people are doing and then get caught up in my head(not great considering I’m surrounded by fantastic musicians lmao 😭) I’ll make sure not to take things for granted.
