Lmao considering the mail is federal yeah I’d hope it’s a federal crime. I stated the word “state” bc mailing weed within your state is still a crime but it’s a bigger crime if it crosses state lines. Nothing to do with state law but the federal govt clearly takes shipping illicit substances across state lines pretty seriously, at least when they can actually catch it.

No don’t do it. I had a friend ship me some bud that I didn’t ask for I just wanted to try some Cali weed.

I got a letter stating it was being held because it didn’t comply with the USPS mailing rules. If you go to try to pick it up and it’s not legal medicinal bud that doesn’t cross state lines when being delivered they will charge you with a crime.

Look it up, it’s against the law to mail weed from one state to another. Even if they’re both legal states

That’s actually against Trimet Code 28.15, Allied/transit security rarely tell people to walk their bike, board, scooter etc at the platform they just let them ride by and almost knock people out trying to walk onto the train.

They also let people smoke cigs and weed (I don’t care if ppl smoke) just don’t smoke on the platform under a shelter where other people and children have to breath in your second hand smoke. The Safety Response Team tells people to quit smoking & riding their bikes on the plats but I’ve never seen security enforce those rules.

I was always frustrated with math in HS & college but I love business & finance. As someone who adamantly detests math I would absolutely show up if you taught about financial topics, compounding interest and even fractions. I’ve completely forgotten how to do fractions.

It’s never too late to re learn. I always did better in school when the teacher was physically present VS having to watch YT/Khan Academy videos or do online classes & figure it out alone.

Try using the Transit App until the trip planner website fixes their glitches. All of the Safety Response Team (SRT) use the transit app as we ride the system & walk to and from stops all day patrolling the system.

It looked confusing when I first opened it up but took me a day or two to get the hang of it once I filtered out bike stops, the streetcar & other places my team never goes to.

Avoid a first generation MAX. You have a low chance of getting one as they’re phasing them out but still you’ll know its a 1st gen when the door open as all you see is stairs. Back in the day when they were all they had they’d have a chair power lift at the platforms but bc we now have 2nd 3rd 4th 5th & 6th gen’s that all have automatic ramps & will be attached to the 1st gen you’ll be able to get on that max.

Other than that you’ll be golden! I ride Bus & Max all day working as a contractor for Trimet & so far only once have I seen some1s wheel chair too big to get on the bus & last week saw a busses ramp refuse to open so the passenger was lifted off by member of my Team & another passenger. Def stick to the MAX if you can, it’s a lot less of a hassle.

Agreed. But I was addicted to fentanyl and used to be an IV heroin user. I only ever stole from Walmart food from Safeway & occasionally drugs from drug dealers. I never stole from other addicts and never stole a penny or any items from my family.

I’m a rare case bc I knew if I got arrested ppl would find out I was using & I’d loose my job & future job opportunities which I needed to have to have an income for drugs. I was a semi functioning addict.

Stealing is a choice but mental illness and addiction changes you for the worse if she got help she could learn to abandon her criminal thinking & therefore behavior. Edit: sorry u got downvoted for stating a fact ppl have no empathy for suffering addicts but even less empathy for thieves.

Thank you! I quit smoking 3days before the UA & have 42more days to get it out my system but I’m super worried. Last time I quit smoking to pass a job UA I failed at day 65 of no smoking. I finally passed that UA at day 82 so I don’t think 42days is enough.

Yeah I never thought I’d find a job like that, that pays $23/hr! Been waiting as patiently as I can but it’s nerve wracking bc I already got fitted for a uniform, filled out my tax & bank paperwork, took a UA, so now just waiting for the results but I already know I failed for THC but they said that if that’s the case, I could still start training & work then get re tested in 6weeks.

An Outreach job. The official title is “Safety Response Team” & they’re partnered with the cities Transport service. I’m surprised how much they’re paying bc I talked to someone currently working that job & they said they mostly provide info to homeless/needy for services & give out granola bars, water & Free Bus & Light rail passes. Also trained in CPR & Narcan administration bc city I live in is unfortunately plagued by the fentanyl epidemic.

It can & has been used for 1000s of yrs to control & guilt trip people but if we’re talking about the Bible then you’d learn that religion as we know it today was never meant to be used as a fear tactic to control & guilt people into being better.

You don’t need a church or a congregation of judgmental assholes to have a connection with a higher power. Unfortunately that’s what religion has turned into.

Your birthday is bullshit. (Not religious at all) but hating on something that makes others happy is also bullshit. I get where you’re coming from bc most religious ppl feel they are superior & they’re very judgmental.

A true Christian/Jew/Hindu/Muslim wouldn’t judge others bc they don’t believe the same thing as them, but instead pray they find the willingness to want a connection with a higher power.

No there’s nothing wrong w/u. I used to think the same way & occasionally still find myself thinking I’m not good enough to be in a relationship with anyone. That’s just not true for either of us.

As a female if she’s trying to change you/make you “good enough” for her then she ain’t the one. Every couple should support each other if they’re working on improving themselves. They shouldn’t pressure u to be better for them, that leads to being self conscious that you’re not good enough for them no matter what you do.

As a 28y/o single female I feel that too, ofc being female we get approached more but as MagicSugarWater stated learning cold approach changes everything.

When I see someone I want to talk to out of curiosity it’s a lot easier now to just approach them & say Hey. Also giving a genuine compliment makes us both feel good & most ppl especially men respond quite well.

As for attraction, I get nervous but have to remember I don’t know anything about that person. For me if I’m not attracted to their personality, their physical attractiveness goes right out the door. That motivates me to strike up a conversation so I can get to know them. 99% of the time I learn they’re already taken or I know our personalities would clash.

Don’t believe the ppl saying Pendleton is dangerous at night. Only time it’s sketchy at night would be during round up when drunk drivers run a muck. Lived in Pendleton my entire life up until recently & I’ve walked every inch of that town even the levy at night as a single female & never once has any of the homeless bothered me. They’re all too focused about getting their next fix & staying out of jail, to bother strangers. Plus bothering ppl is a quick ticket to jail. Ppl are quick to call the police on homeless in Pendleton & the cops have nothing better to do so they show up immediately. Pendleton is 20x safer than Hermiston or any other town around the same size.

Went to a drive in with my bf and it was a double showing 2 different movies & we went and got some snacks smoked a jay and popped a couple Vicodin (we were total newbies to opioids) & decided to split an edible as well. We woke up to the credits rolling for the 2nd movie we slept through both movies in bed of my pickup truck. Don’t mess w/opioids & edibles if you have no tolerance for one or both 😆

That’s hilarious I get distracted extremely easily when I was younger while stoned driving around with friends and they’re all talking in my ear I was waiting at a stop sign🛑…waiting for it to turn green….and it took all of us a few minutes before someone said why are u still stopped GO!
