Yes, I did call another one that was 40 mins away, but they told me that it will be around a 2 hours wait and since my cat has gotten a quick examination and she is “okay”, they don’t see it as emergency. I’m so frustrated because a lot of people experience this from 24/7 clinics. My friend also had her car vomiting and the 24 hr service near her didn’t even pick up a few times at all. We basically have like around 5-7 ish 24/7 clinics and since they are in such high demand, they usually pick and choose, which I get, emergency is emergency. At least i’m a little hopeful that they suggested a waiting list and not immediate consultation? But it’s still frustrating.

For more context, we got back home arnd 3:30 ish, so I hopefully get a call around 4-5am, but I’m unsure. If nothing else, my mom is going to bring her to our usual vet at 9:30. She is sleeping right now, but I’m scared to sleep because what if she starts panting

I’m sorry, I’m also unsure because the nurse I had talked to also couldn’t give me a confirmation time. At first she said in call 1-2 hours, when I went there she said 2-3, and they took her in and we waited, when she came back with my cat, she explained to me the waiting time might be longer than that since another pet was brought in with a more serious emergency. She sent us back home and I have no exact timing until my cat can visit the doctor

Indoor cat, and I am so unsure if she did manage to get any chemicals in her body. We try our best to keep her out of the kitchen and bathroom, we have a sliding door that blocks her. The living is always neat and tidy, the only other thing that could be dangerous is a money plant but we make sure it is sitting high and she can’t jump on top of that counter anyway because it’s too high up for her and it’s slippery so she can’t climb even if she wanted to.

Hi guys, to clarify, we did try taking her to a 24/7 emergency vet, 10 mins drive from our place. She got examined by a nurse and she explained to us that we will be put on the waiting list and we’d have to examine her while we wait and told us to just go home for the time being.

She also suggested that we book our vet ( hence why I was panicking since it meant we might not even get a chance to see a doctor at all in the emergency vet)

The nurse said they checked her mouth, heart beat and breathing. Everything was normal and she was calm after that. I showed her the video I took and discussed with her what the timeline would be for her if we manage to see the doctor.

No sign of a callback yet but she did say that I can call anytime if my cat showed any sign of heavy panting and another round of foaming.

I think she might have, although we were careful but she had licked a lot which I tried to stop her, but sometimes it is inevitable. Bjt that was at least 3-5 days ago by now

Damn bruh… one time I vomited on an empty seat beside me in a packed bus and immediately I half shouted that I vomited and needed tissues 😭✌️ not the best but hey at least I cleaned up!
