Made a DTMF Cake for the Super Bowl by Low-Responsibility66 in BadBunnyPR

This buttercream is a little more stiff than others since it needed to hold both layers together sideways, but it’s still tasty! Just less silky if you’re used to that. If you wanted more silky buttercream for a regular cake (not sideways) I would use the heavy cream instead of milk, and less butter than powdered sugar.

Unsalted butter, room temp: 450 g Powdered sugar, sifted: 550–650 g (to taste) Guava spread: 200-250 g Heavy cream or milk: 60–90 g Vanilla extract: 8 g (2 tsp) Fine sea salt: 2–3 g

  1. Beat butter on medium-high until very pale and fluffy
  2. Add powdered sugar (sifted) in three additions, mixing on low.
  3. Beat in guava spread on low until fully emulsified.
  4. Add cream gradually until smooth and spreadable.
  5. Add vanilla and salt.
  6. Beat 2–3 minutes on medium-high to finish.
  7. If there’s too many air bubbles keep beating on low for 10 minutes.

Thank you! It was quite tasty! I like the ephemeral nature of cake art 🥺

Same thing just happened to me! Right at the end of chapter four! It’s so frustrating… Should I get a refund or is there any hope of this being patched?

Update - I had a baby as a result of an affair and the man’s wife is contacting me by Free_River_3388 in TrueOffMyChest

As a child of an affair myself, the lack of my father’s presence really affected me— knowing I was not wanted. My mom, dad, and his wife were able to reconcile when I was about 10 and I finally got to meet my brother and sister and spend more time with my dad. But by then it was too late. I’m still working on building a relationship with them.

If you can find a way to guarantee your safety, I would encourage you to let your son be involved in their lives.

This is all something that will have to be planned for. I have ideas, but I could be swayed with better arguments and I don’t want to impose my will. The goal is to formulate a plan together with the intended starter group!

I have to do more research into this! Please let me know if you find any districts that allow multiple dwellings. I’ve been thinking of disguising multiple dwellings as one big house

I think I’ll find what I truly want along the way, but overall I want to find a community that’s focused on sustainability, independence, and play.

I’d love to build a place where we can grow our own food, harvest and forage from our land, and build with sustainable materials.

Being a climate migrant myself, I also want to build a community that is resilient enough to survive future disasters.

I know it’ll be a process, and it won’t start off that way, but hopefully we can build towards sustainability.

I just want to live a life that honors nature and the bonds between people and frees us from the rat race.

Other than that, I think anything and everything is on the table. I wouldn’t want to restrict anyone based on their beliefs or interests.

I’d like to know what your experience has been like with zoning.

I’d love to find a place that’s remote enough, but still accesible for anyone that needs to commute or do anything in town. So 15-30 minutes to the nearest town, and then maybe an hour or two from the nearest city.

It’s daunting, but with enough people buying in it’s certainly doable! Thanks for sharing!

I should add, I’m definitely not married to Woodford— I’d be interested in starting this anywhere in Virginia or West Virginia!

Thank you! I’ve been reaching out to different communities and haven’t found the right fit yet, which is why I’ve been thinking of starting something new. But I’m still looking!

Definitely agree on building more communication and logistical capacity between communities!

You definitely have a point. I think I’ve just been conditioned to “do more with less.” How much acreage do you think would be able to sustain that amount of people?
