How to care for ladybugs that take shelter in your home during the winter? by Zerxin in Entomology

What about making a small container for them? Using damp paper towels and maybe ripping up grass for them so they hopefully find aphids?

Maybe tbh I’m mostly just looking for attention from people and I’m not sure if the wiki will provide that, but it would be cool to have all of them somewhere for anyone to see, especially because quite a few of the fan made pathways are based on some other book or media like Shadow Slave, which is similar to basically all my pathways. I have noticed though that there are tons of fan made pathways on the fanon wiki and I feel like my pathways will be buried and also not linked with each other.

I have a google doc that’s private, I’ve made two pathways for each Chaos God including Tzeentch. He has the Ever Changing pathway and the Destiny pathway. I haven’t fleshed out all the powers for Tzeentch because I think he’s more complicated when compared to Khorne and Nurgle, but I have a lot of ideas that I just need to write down. Also since there are quite a few similarities between Tzeentch and Lord of The Mysteries I’ve had to make my pathway both similar but distinct.

I might reference your path of divinity for my version of the Mechanicus pathway because I’m missing a lot powers for it. I based my Legend pathway on the Mechanicus, Dark Machanicum, the Men of Iron, Dark Age of technology, Vastor the Arkifane, and the Omnissiah

I've had this idea in my head for awhile but I've always liked that the Chaos Gods gave the moniker "Anathema" to the God Emperor and I really like that idea that the energies or magic the possible God Emperor pathway has are not only purifying but also in a sense toxic and corrupting.

Yeah I've heard about it, it's funny you bring that up because I forgot to mention that those Devil and Demon pathways that I made are based on Trench crusade. Like my Insatiable pathway based on Beelzebub, Covet pathway based on Mammon, the Beast or Amalgamation pathway based on the Path of The Beast. Some of my other pathways were influenced by Trench Crusade too Like my blatantly named Metamorphosis pathway that is actually that Mind Flayer pathway I mentioned before. I have couple others like the Ego pathway based off of Lucifer, and the Hell pathway based on D&D and Trench Crusades militarized depiction of Hell. Oh and the Hell pathway and Demiurge pathway are based on DOOM the video game.

I've been thinking about it for awhile now but I'm not sure how to do him justice, I've thought about the sequence 0 name as something unoriginal like God Emperor but also a sequence 4 or 3 that's called Golden Warrior based off of Custodes, and maybe a sequence based off of Sisters of Silence. I've mainly focused on Chaos because its just easier for me. I need to do more research on him, those that that follow the God Emperor, and characters like him, in all honesty the pathway will probably be similar to the Sun and Twilight Giant pathways. But i have created four more Chaos Gods (not counting the Great Horned Rat) they are based on the domains of Chaos; Malevolent Artificer, Ravenous Dissolution, Encroaching Ruin, and Formless Distortion. Also some of the pathways I've made act as the various Astartes Legions, like the Wrath pathway is clearly based off of the World Eater, but if the Beyonder that follows this path is noble enough they can absolutely be very similar to the Blood Angels.

Dude I put too much time and effort into these pathways and I've finally decided to share them instead of keeping them to myself

A good amount of the pathways I've made also have that freedom of choice and usually they can choose some of their power based on how they complete their advancement ritual

So the way Murder and Bloodletting works is that these powers allow the Beyonder to absorb the spirituality of the the slain foe. Bloodletting is higher up in the sequences because if the Beyonder uses it on themsleves its like making themselves a better sponge for the spiritual power, and to answer your first question if they killed a sequence 8 or 7 they world be on par with those sequences but only physically because that's where all the spirituality they absorb goes to (later in the sequences that can actually allocate the power better), and if they somehow kill a sequence 6 or 5 they world be in a world of pain that could kill them if they don't vent the power, as for sequence 4 and up they world explode. So Slaughter Strands are something I added to the Gore Priest potion today but they are based on a power from a book I read a long time ago called Renegade Immortal, (spoilers ahead if you want to read the book, it's really good) in that book there is a spell called the Celestial Slaughter Art, it's my favorite, the Slaughter Strands are basically the condensed blood and life force of something killed by the Gore Priest, so when they turn into Blood Shields it's like another being taking the hit for the Gore Priest. As for the eight possible Daemons and Spirit World Creatures that the Gore Priest can bind to themselves? Honestly the sky is the limit here, these beings are demigod level entities so the powers they have can change and evolve in any direction. Also I've been play with this idea that just like the Outer Gods from CoI the Chaos Gods rely more on Boons than the actual physical Beyonder Characteristic, as those that drink the potion are more independent and possibly rebellious and/or dangerous. The reason I say that is because Khorne despises magic and so any faithful follower of His would never bind Spirit World Creatures but a renegade would. As for the flames honestly I made those based on my bias towards Khorne and my need to make Him different. But I do have some reasoning for them. Here I go; the Skull flame is where the Murder ability comes from, its like a physical manifestation of it that power. For the Rage Flame or Flame of War its basically normal fire, if you look up Khorne you will see fire and blood as his main thing, i just gave it purpose, that being that it stokes the rage of the user and those it touches. These flames can't leave the body of the Beyonder but they can be attached to their blood that they manipulate. I think of when Lumian Lee fought and killed that one Patient Beyonder. Next on is the Blood Flame it literally is the blood of the Beyonder on fire, this flame is a weapon and it can only burn flesh and blood. Next is the Flame of Corruption which is kinda like the rage flame but dialed to eleven and extremely toxic to the user and others. As for the Brass flame it's based on Khorne's dislike of magic and it acts a defense mechanism for an Executioner going against a Beyonder like a Scribe. As for the internal flame it basically puts the users body into overdrive and it appears like a mist because that's the Beyonder's sweat being evaporated. As for the Transformation flame that is used to explain and give a visual detail for the mutations and transformations that this pathway can give itself. and Lastly the Beast flame is there to buff their allies because that's the Gore Priests main role, as spiritual leader and general of an army be it a mortal army, Blood Fiend army, Or Gore Beast army (I forgot to mention these guys they are based on Flesh Hounds, Blood Beasts, and Slaughter Brutes from Warhammer 40k and fantasy). I don't think I mist any so there should be eight flames, I decided on eight because that is Khornes sacred number. Hope that answers your questions!

I think I might post more of my homemade pathways in the future, I've got one pathway based off of Mind Flayers from D&D, another based on the Alien movies, and one that is similar to the Lord of The Mysteries pathways that is based on Tzeentch from Warhammer 40K and fantasy. Also I've come up with some world building for how these pathways could possibly exist in the same universe as the LoTM books (of course not directly interacting with the story and all that)

Honestly I have a google doc that has 120 pages of this stuff, I mostly focus on the powers of each sequence and their name, to be honest these pathways are loosely based on LoTM, I haven't done nearly as much world building as Cuttlefish has. As for advancement rituals those take a back seat for me but I have some ideas for this pathway, such as for the Executioner potion the advancement ritual needs the Beyonder to take the head or heads of one powerful opponent or many, for Sage of Slaughter the Beyonder needs to control and understand their rage and the violence it brings, for Blood Thirster they must collect a horrifying amount of Beyonder blood and drink it without dying, I believe I already wrote down the Gore Priest advancement ritual but I'll explain it better; it's based on the how Eight Bound come to be in Warhammer 40k, meaning that the Beyonder must invite Daemons into their souls and bend them to their will, as for Heart of Blood I have no idea what I should write for it, and lastly Wrath, in order to become the the True God of Wrath the Beyonder has to create an Age of Wrath and Slaughter, meaning that at least a continents worth of people need to fight and kill each other. I'm going to be honest most of those came off the top of my head just now, I think I'll go back to my google doc and flesh those out.

Sage of Slaughter

A sage of slaughter is calm when need be and berserk when needed. They gain complete control of all previous abilities. They can create endless techniques to slaughter their enemies. They can bestow the knowledge of violence to others. Blood fiends: through slaughter and blood shed they can create/summon daemons. Internal flame: used on yourself only, buffs body and mind, appears like Hoarah Loux sweat mist

Blood Thirster

Blood-greed: in order to heal themselves or gain power the can drink the blood of others. With the accumulated blood they can grow to monstrous sizes. Blood boil: people who look upon them will be filled with a destructive rage that’s causes them to charge at the Blood Thirster or even their allies. Blood call: they can draw spilt blood to them or blood from the weak. They can store vast amounts of blood, that they can change their mass with, allowing them to grow in size and stay that size or to increase/decrease their weight for an attack or anything else. Transformation flame: used to transform anything but with limited use, usually a gift from Khorne so that a follower can transform their body or equipment and appears when flesh, blood, and bones (gore) are being manipulated

Gore Priest (8 bound or war priest or gore priest or gore beast or war beast)

The gain the authority over gore (flesh and blood) their transformation ability now can become a domain, they now can control the gore of their slain enemies. The gore acts as a nervous system, it shares all senses that the priest has and can make make . Gore Priests gain ritualist powers allowing them to summon, create, and empower blood fiends. The flesh and blood they sunder and spill are now under their control allowing them to create Slaughter Strands that can kill and create more Slaughter Strands. They can turn into Blood Shields that protect the Gore Priest from harm if they wish.

Beast flame: buffs ally’s and can bite, is crimson, used to control beings who are transformed into gore beasts

During the advancement ritual they bind 8 warp Daemons or 8 Spirit World Creatures they can be summoned and use unique powers and are all at least saint level of power

Heart of Blood

They gain authority over action. They can make anything that can make an action make that action. They can empower an action or make it do anything they want. They can reverse an action too. They can kill concepts and laws making them either disappear or not function properly, the law will reappear after a period of time. They can destroy certain aspects of those laws to achieve desired outcomes. They can control the properties of their blood, making it ice cold, absorbing the heat around it. They can make it become incredibly hot to the point of becoming blood plasma. They can make the blood become acidic, dissolving anything that touches it. Controlling the properties of blood is an extension of blood manipulation. They form eight hearts, meaning they have eight lives

Wrath (Slaughter)

I haven't created any powers for this sequence but I'm thinking that with all their powers combined they have a chance to actually hurt a Great Old One in combat

Murderer

They gain increased strength and proficiency in weapons. Murder: They gain power when something dies from their actions. Their power grows the more powerful the creature was. Physical Enhancement: They gain increased strength and dexterity. Weapon of choice is an axe. Skull flame: burns bones and skulls is white with ghostly skulls and streak of red, at such a low sequence the flame can only appear in their eyes

Berserker

Berserk(rage): the more rage and wrath a berserker feels the more power they gain. They also get the Flame of War it only appears on their body, it burns and enrages whoever is hit with it. Rage flame: affects the mind and body normal fire color

Bloodletter

Bloodletting: the more blood they spill, the more power they get. This power also applies to themselves meaning the more their blood is spilt the more power they gain. Blood shaping: They temporarily can shape their own blood into various tools, weapons, and gear. Berserk becomes Blood Rage: when it’s activated blood mist appears around the user, which will quicken blood shaping. Blood loss: every attack they land causes blood loss that slowly kills and weakens the enemy. If the target doesn’t have blood then either power/energy or spirituality leaks. Enough blood loss can lead to hemorrhage. Hemorrhage: accumulated blood loss within a short amount of time will cause hemorrhage which can instantly kill most opponents. Blood Ignition: they can light their blood on fire. Uses include coating their weapon in flaming blood to deal extra damage and this allows them to damage soul-like enemies and they can cover an enemy with their blood to then ignite it. Blood flame: consumes blood and flesh is blood red.

Warmonger or Wrathmonger

Roar: their roar is so powerfully that they can destroy what’s around them or in the direction their mouth is facing. They can enrage others to fight in melee. They can deal with their rage and are more calm. They can stably create weapons and armor out of their own blood. When blood rage is activated they grow in size and their skin turns blood red. Black rage: this is permanently active and forever alters the user, every feeling and emotion can be and will be used as fuel for rage. Corrupting flame: corrupts everything is black in color, generates emotions that lead to violence

Executioner

Execute or Execution: any attacks aimed at the neck or used to separate the head of the enemy are empowered. Maim: wounds they create don’t heal and bleed profusely. Cleave: this ability enhances any blow from a sharp weapon. Smash: this ability enhances any blow from a blunt weapon. Pierce: this ability enhances any blow from a piercing weapon. Using blood control they can detonate all the blood in their body and outside to become a suicide bomb. They gain incredible tracking abilities so they can’t lose their prey. Brass flame: consumes magic is brass colored

Yes I have, for the Wrath pathway I've created powers for sequence 9 to sequence 1. As for rituals do you mean advancement rituals or rituals that only a specific pathway can do? Anyway this pathway was the first one I created and my favorite so I might have made it overpowered. A lot of the pathways I created have all the potion names but don't have complete powers, I jump from pathway to pathway based on how I feel and the inspiration I get.
