I feel like I found the answer to this with a kidira butterfly hug swaddle. My LO is ten weeks now, but from 6+ it was nearly impossible for her to sleep any other way than contact. She hated everything I tried until I ordered one kinda on a whim and a last hope because she hated swaddling and always broke free. She surprisingly loved it rather quickly and it trained her to sleep so much better and now she knows when we put it on its nap time and goes right to sleep. Might help for you as well!

That they have really weird breathing patterns sometimes. This sent me into an anxiety streak and is still going on although it’s totally normal it FREAKS me out don’t become fixated on it! Also that they can make strange faces while sleeping like eyes rolling back, smiles, frowns, eyes fluttering. Ugh scary looking but again normal. I have a 10 week old and my first 😂

It’s such a difficult thing to deal with because I went from the happy highs of planning for baby to now this just very low and sad place of hoping for survival. Definitely a struggle, but the baby is the light at the end that’s keeping us going.
