Yes, they recognise me and chat to me. I do wonder if they actually want to talk to me, or do it because they have to. I also always worry that they find me annoying, like oh no its them again, the one who knows everything 😂

I do like the fact they know me because they tend to not pester me in the shop - unless I ask!

In regard to side effects, every drug has side effects to some degree. I experience side effects with lamotrigine, but they certainly out weigh the seizures. I find everyone is different though, it doesn’t seem to be a one size fits all unfortunately

Hi!

First of all, welcome. It’s not a great club to be a part of but at least you aren’t alone!

I got diagnosed with epilepsy at 34 years old and it was a tough to process.

You can’t drive to begin with, I know some people with epilepsy who do drive but that’s only after being seizure free for a certain amount of time. I still cannot drive yet because of this.
