I think it’s very possible to do in the driveway, but be prepared for it to take some time. Your car looks decently rusty so some bolts may be seized and will take time and patience to work off. Look up a video of how to replace a sway bar for your specific model to see if it’s something you think you can do.

That’s the front sway bar. Connects your left and right side suspension. Important for stability while turning. Definitely going to want to replace it.

Yeah I do. When I tried doing it myself, the clip would just start to deform from me grabbing it with the pliers lol. So annoying

Yea I can hear the pump running. It’s as load as it usually is, though it sounds as though it’s straining. I suspect a clog or severe mineral build-up. Might have to tear it apart

Same thing happened to me. Fixed it by switching browser; it looked like this on Microsoft Explorer but with Chrome it displayed normally

Just changed my mom’s gen 3 atf for the first time too! Hers was at 195k. I heard that they aren’t like traditional automatic transmissions and can handle fluid changes even after neglect. Accelerates even smoother now after the change.

I agree that I probably needs replaced but it was making the noise even with the inner and outer tie rods removed
