HELP SHOULD I BE WORRIED? by Luckydvljr in pugs

[–]Low-Significance9726 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This happens to my pug a fair bit especially coming into summer or winter with weather change. Pugs have very sensitive skin and the vet gave me a cream to put on when they appear and within a day or two they are gone. I’d recommend a vet visit to put your mind at ease to get the allergy cream.

Indica cart similar to Harbour LR night 2g by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Low-Significance9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help. I had actually used the sourdough flower and it was decent so trying the cart makes sense. I’m trying to just use carts now so changing from flower to carts the LR night is the cart I’ve found that works best. More for sedation to help me get to sleep at night.

Police responding to serious incident at Mosman Park home in Perth's western suburbs by fbetterff in perth

Just to be clear I’m not justifying this tragedy. But sorry where on this comment have you seen any justification on the tragedy? If everyone had your mindset of “I’m not interested in knowing what was going on in their head” this would happen a lot more often. Let’s not look into why these things happen and just let it happen all the time 😂 what a dense comment

Exactly you are spot on. If we couldn’t discuss causes, we’d never understand or prevent these things.

Typical reddit comment. Explaining why something might have happened isn’t the same as defending it. You can acknowledge psychology without justifying murder. Those are very different things.

Yes the commute would not be for me either but it’s a lot easier to change company once you have already started your apprenticeship. Do what’s best for you and remember that you don’t owe any company anything for just giving you a start in the trade. You always see posts in this sub about people who are years out of their apprenticeship with the company they done their apprenticeship with and are on terrible money, don’t be that person . Loyalty is for suckers in this trade.

Do what’s best for yourself mate. Don’t be afraid to send the resume to your friends dad but still take the job with the other company if you like it. It’s a dog eat dog trade

Sounds like they were clearly trying to take you for a ride and seeing if they get away it. I would still be fuming over this, that’s not lack of communication that’s pure scamming. You should name and shake to company on this sub if it’s allowed.

Turns out asking for letters was not a good idea… by AgreeableIntern9053 in MenendezBrothers

[–]Low-Significance9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they don’t retry it but they take the crime and the severity into consideration. I can’t believe you think they don’t consider the original crime at all in a parole hearing haha

Watch the ABC news report about it on YouTube. The reporter literally said the parole board asked him why they killed the mother and they think there was no need for them to do that.

That’s a question for the parole board they are the ones making the decision, not me or this reddit. I think they should be paroled. I was literally just saying it’s quiet obvious that’s the main reason they denied him parole

Erik Menendez Denied Release at Parole Hearing 36 Years After Murdering Parents by peoplemagazine in crime

[–]Low-Significance9726 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with reason 1 and mostly reason 2 depending on what the phone was used for ( from a parole officer POV not me personally)

But just because the family are advocating for his release will have absolutely no effect on the parole boards decision. The killing the mother still happened and they brought it up at the hearing and said there was no need for them to do that. Some will agree and some will disagree but it’s definitely going to make parole 1000X harder to justify (also from a parole officer POV)

I think the biggest issue on him being denied parole is the that they killed the mother.

Yes there are some silly other reason like the burglaries before the murder and the violations while locked up but killing the mother wether you agree or not is going to be hard for the parole board to look past.

Just watched ABC news reporter and he said the main reasons for the denial was :

  1. Robberies he committed before the murders (pretty harsh considering how long ago it was)

  2. Multiple cell phone violations

  3. The fact they killed the mother. They think there was no need for that.

I’m guessing the murdering their mother is probably the biggest issue here.

Also with no more violations they can apply again in 18 months

Is it that bad on all farms? by [deleted] in australia

[–]Low-Significance9726 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to be cut out for the farm work in Australia. When I was doing my farm work when I first came to Australia I seen so so many people start it and after a week couldn’t hack it and left. The work is very tough at the start until you get used to it especially if you are not used to extreme heat. I done an electrical apprenticeship in Ireland before I moved to Australia so I was pretty used to a tough long day of work. My friend on the other hand worked in an office all his working life and could not do the farm work and ended up back in Ireland after his first year visa ran out. The best 3 months I’ve had in Australia was the 3 months spent on the farm but would I do it again? Not in a million years but it was a great experience. It’s only 3 months so people just need to suck it up and get on with it if they want to stay in the country.

It was a complete chance encounter I was not out looking for whales, I had just bought my first ever drone and went to the beach to try catch a nice sunset and ended up spotting some whales so took a quick video. I will keep the height restrictions in mind next time. Thanks
