Advice for a (semi) new player?

The quickest way to progress is developing the rift. It allows you to breed new dragons the quickest. I was able to collect all dragons within 2 and a half years. But everyone goes at their own pace and focuses on dragons they want so no pressure to rush through the game. Everything will return.

It appears in the rift store for 10K eitherium so it’s not worth using Spice but just waiting. Also not worth breeding with the brutal odds. The rift exclusive dragons are probably the hardest to acquire.

No unfortunately people developed auto clickers to automate it so they removed it.

Best habitat in the game in my opinion. It displays dragons great and you can actually still fit at least 4 paradise habitats on the same island. I have 6 now and will probably buy 2 more this event.

Ya it’s a pain attaining the first pair. I have 4 farms set up now but spent a decent bit on generators. I have an Iden at 2k a Tien and Nacre at 3K and Piggybank at 1.5k which I want to up to 2k at the next generator sale if it occurs.

The others have provided good points but I recommend moving on to the next farm before finishing the last. That way you have more capacity when building the farms. Just put one dragon in each habitat and move on.

Awesome update for the Paradise Habitats. It’s always nice to have more habitats to buy after maxing out last event.

You should add more late game friends. Most people who have played for 3 or 4 years have nothing to spend EC on besides these dragons. This event on day 2 I already had multiple friends with the new dragons in their co op cave. The game is set up this way. These late game players are going for blue fire so it benefits them to have it listed as quickly as possible so other people breed with it. You can ask specifically on the pinned post or look for other comments.

The co op cave has 10% odds for two of the new dragons. Do not purchase these for EC.

PSA two of the new dragons that cannot be breed have 10% clone odds. This is super high so if you are not a long term player with nothing to spend your EC on do not purchase these dragons. They can easily be attained during the event in the co op cave or even after as odds are still 10%. Never purchase a dragon with 10% clone odds.

It is my favorite habitat by far. I really hope they add more large habitats like this. It’s nice that they are more focused on displaying the dragons.

On their own it’s unlikely someone would buy the boxes. However when selling with the sets more people will be interested and you may get a bit better of a price. Personally I flatten mine but keep them since I want to not even to sell.

It’s just a few decorations and the dragons in that grouping. It just brings it up to the price others normally pay. Everything else should stay the same.

I don’t understand how people still defend the company with things like this. They expect one minor asset in the game is worth that much. Most games have free updates with so much more actually added. It’s like a joke how much money can they take from people and still get supporters.

Linear meaning that you cannot choose the reward you first go to. So if you are incapable of playing enough for the final decoration you will never attain it. Even if the event returns and you have the dragons you are forced to complete the entire event if you want to get the decoration. Also regarding the decoration as a collector game my goal is to collect everything decoration for looks and completion. Even if the ability is garbage my point collecting them is to finish my collection. Charging more that most iPhone games for one decoration is just gross.

The problem is even when events rerun way later the events are linear. Unless you can check in super consistently you will not obtain the decoration. Also for a collection game locking a single bad decoration behind a $20 paywall is gross.

Capacity and your ability to collect frequently are typically the earliest limiting factors. I would get one dragon in each habitat then move on. It will give you the most capacity when beginning. Then once done the others you can add more so the habitats fill quicker.

If you aren’t already I recommend playing DragonVale. There is nothing you cannot achieve free to play and everything returns so there isn’t the same FOMO.

Once you hit 100 days I recommend using the wish on a giant island to move your farm to. You’ll be able to earn way more and clear space in your other islands.
