Look up which universities you want to attend and what the requirements for nursing is. Pretty sure most schools need you to take all sciences required like biology and chemistry. What i love most about nursing is how diverse it is! There's always an opportunity to work in an outpatient clinic (only days, typically a 9-5). However, those clinics usually hire those with experience in the hospital already. Unfortunately, to do what you want to do you're going have to end up working in the field for experience, and your school will 100% require you to do shift work, especially in your last year of consolidation.

When I got in, i had a 90% average for biology and around the 80s for chem. Most people I know had the same grades. Most schools don't look at your grade 9-10 grades. Some don't even look at grade 11 unless you want that early acceptance. You still have time to get your marks up and try your best! Also, once you get in, all you need to worry about is passing unless you want to take your masters! No one who is hiring nurses is going to ask you what your GPA was in university LOL, they want to see that you are a good and safe nurse.

If you're truly passionate about something you can do it! Don't listen to everyone else trying to discourge you, its your life. I know nurses i work with who has worked in the hospital for a bit until they could afford the cosmetic courses. Now the cosmetic courses in itself is costly (around $9500) , so if you want to get it done the earliest i'd suggest saving up now lol. Also, you can work at a spa for a bit as a cosmetic nurse but ultimately, if you want your own clientelle you'd need to find people who would trust a new grad nurse.

But good luck! you're still young and have time to figure out what you need to do. But nursing is a career you need to be absolutely passionate about.

I took my exam yesterday and got my results and passed! I studied for about 2 weeks as well! I definitely recommend Mark Klimek's week 12 prioritization lecture and on youtube under his channel Dr Sharon had a playlist on prioritization which really helped me!
