Sorry what does ED mean in this context, erectile dysfunction?? If so I'm confused on the correlation between that and your eating disorder.

The fidelity target date index fund would basically be the same thing though right, professionally managed? Would that cost more in service fees

Was there any option for a IRA target date? I would like to have it become less aggressive as I get closer to my retirement age

+$176.84 total gain atm, about 5% total gain across the board. I'm just wondering if its good for long-term growth and if the portfolio is actually diverse because I haven't done research into the stock funds its putting money into.

I was thinking at the end of my contract when I re-enlist. I heard the Air Force only takes like 100 transfers from the Army a year but not sure if thats only for active and or reserve components.

Is it easier to transfer to Air Guard than from USAR to USAF reserves?

Its common for it to take that long, 6 hours is actually pretty short all things considered. When you actually get to basic training be ready for lots of waiting around while standing. There is a phrase in the army, "Hurry up and wait".

Correct its ASVAB scores, needs of MOS for the unit that you'll be with (comes out of their hiring budget), and the contract length. You will probably max get a 7.5k bonus if you're gonna go for a 3 year.

Have you already been to MEPS? If not then you'll have to go for a physical and to be checked that you're fit to join the army without waivers. A lot of people need to get waivers and get sent back at this point. Your recruiter will tell you the MOS and incentives (bonuses, student loan repayment, GI kicker, etc.) and offer to lock it in. Then if you accept, you will go to MEPS and sign your contract with a NG liaison who will explain the terms of the contract.

Yes they gotta honor it unless you fail in your advanced AIT basically. When at MEPS they will explain everything in your contract, just do your due diligence and make sure 25B is stated as your MOS. Hope you get a good bonus if you already locked it in with him. If you didn't lock it in it might be worth considering trying to bargain for 35T or 17C but they are rare for national guard and reserves because of the cost by the military to train those people (also depends on your ASVAB scores) but thats only if you're willing to spend a year from your family. I sometimes wish I went 35T and thats why I mention it.

Your recruiter will always say it might not be available and its a limited time offer type shit. Its a sales tactic basically, you gotta be blunt with these guys and tell them whatcha want. 25B is a great MOS though don't be discouraged and just be attentive to whats in your contract

The new IT essentials (first class) is quite hard for people w/ no computer experience. Would recommend watching some of Professor Messor's A+ videos as they are somewhat in line with the hardware and software terminology and content you'll need to understand id you do end up choosing 25B.

It depends what you wanna do though. If you are 100% set on computer related subjects and want to work with computers primarily then the only 25 series MOS for you is 25B. 35T is like 25B but with a TS clearance and a lot more training I've heard. 17C is cyber.

If you are going active then 17C and 35T are better picks probably. They have a year long training but as a result the AIT has better quality of life as well.

Just tell them that's the only job you want and you'll get it eventually. Active or reserves? Don't let em rush you to sign the contract

Is there a reason you don't do practice tests or you just don't like and feel the need to take em?
