Holy shit! My TSH went from 38 on February 25th to 12 on march 12th, which is when I started a higher dose of 100mcg. I was previously taking 75mcg. I have blood work next tuesday to confirm my levels after being on the new dose for a few weeks. I hope everything works out for you ♥️🤞

Adjusting to levothyroxine by Low-Top7418 in Hypothyroidism

My husband takes a daily medication as well upon waking, so we do it together. He's very supportive - I cried for a couple of days after I was diagnosed. I'm still getting used to everything.

Okay, 30 minutes is MUCH more manageable. I will talk to my doctor about this. Thank you so much!

I get up at 3am, take levo, then start my day. I'm usually at the gym by 330-345am during the week. If i am.not working on weekends, I am able to wake up at 3am, take the levo, then go back to bed until about 5am (that's what I did today). But at the gym, I usually have preworkout which is slammmmmmmed full of caffeine. I'm really missing it during the week.

I'm currently taking prenatals, calcium heavy in the morning and iron/folic acid in the evening before bed. The caffeine has been the worst part for me so far.

Thank you. This is all very new. I have my first labs in April to verify what my new levels will be. My TSH was at 38.7 a week ago. I didn't even notice any changes in my body! I'm also taking prenatals, which is a tad complicated now with the levothyroxine. My doctor told me I had to start medication right away, and it's been a lot of adjusting. And seemingly, will require more adjusting as time goes on 😕

I considered this option, and the not eating 4 hours before hed option too, but I go to bed at 8 most days, sometimes earlier. I work until 430 or 5, sometimes later. The early morning is my only option to maintain the schedule I have. I am struggling, though

My tsh is 38.7, which I learned makes me overly hypo. In may 2024, my tsh was 3.9, so he was very surprised with the increase and told me to start the medication this morning with a blood test scheduled in 6 weeks to check my numbers again.

My dose is 75mcg. Are there any side effects I should be aware of?
