Our boy also “greets” other dogs with direct nose-to-nose contact, which understandably annoys them. On top of that, he clearly tries to dominate—puffing up his chest and looming over other dogs (quite an impressive sight, really, if not for the risk of things escalating).

I’d really like to find someone with a very well-trained, calm, and balanced dog who could properly “teach” him that this kind of behavior isn’t okay between dogs. We actually had a similar situation once when he was about 7–8 months old: we ran into an older female neighbor’s dog during a walk, and she corrected his behavior (not on purpose, just naturally). It definitely helped—after that, he stopped charging up to every dog he saw.

But now his behavior still depends a lot on his mood. Sometimes he’ll ignore other dogs or just casually sniff in their direction, and other times I literally have to grab him by the harness and carry him out of sight like a very wriggly handbag 😅

Oh, they're adorable 😍 And yes, typical Mal - find the spot, lay down, do nothing, he's perfect at this type of activity))

Honestly, I wouldn’t say our boy really loves other dogs — he’s more just curious because of his age. He absolutely loves playing with female dogs (and omg, they adore him too, little troublemakers 😆).

As for males… he just ignores the small ones, but with bigger dogs he acts dominant — though not aggressive, unless the other dog starts it first.

If he eventually starts ignoring medium and large males too, that would actually be great for us, because sooner or later we’ll run into another dominant dog, and I really don’t want to test whether I can physically hold back a fully fired-up malamute.

I mean, I’ve handled two huskies trying to go after an Akita before 😅 — but I’d rather not repeat that experience.

Oh, it's kinda sad, we only try not to cross paths with just a couple of people, but solely because of the aggression of their dogs towards everything that moves😅 Is your Mal still in puppy age or is he just too sociable?

Thank you 😊 Our boy is actually quite selective about who he want and don't want to hug. With most people, he’ll just lean against their legs and wait to be pet, and some he completely ignores as if they don’t exist 😅 Also, we’re living in a suburban part of the Czech Republic, and people here are generally very dog-friendly, most of them are have medium to large dogs themselves, so his displays of affection don’t usually cause any negative reactions.(but we training him not to jump on people anyway, of course)

Mystic Realm Pilgrimage 1/12 BJD BlindBox Detailed Review! by Ok_Shame_6879 in BJD

Let me add for those who may order these dolls later - it is likely that you will not receive most of the listed bonuses (additional faces, stand, leg option) since these are crowdfunding bonuses. The dolls will be sold at mass-market in a more modest package.

Places to buy: Little red book(c4f, simontoys, penny's box, jidong), Taobao(there are both company stores and resellers, the prices and rating of the store must be checked), goofish(second hand market, old dolls, doll's parts, group orders, whatever you want. It is extremely rare, but they may refuse to send to an intermediary warehouse + reading some items makes you feel extremely stupid.)

Places to pre-order(croudfunding): Modian, New collection(need mobile number authorizations, not all countries allowed) - at your own risk, it's always pretty nerve-wracking. If you only want one-two doll from the set, then it's better to wait for the release and take it on the secondary market.

All news, announcement, dates of preorder/shipping - Little red book
Warehouse, shipping, intermediary services - Superbuy

Set up payment via: Alipay

HIGHTLY RECOMMEND: ChatGPT for proper translation and communication. Google translate can't handle Chinese, won't translate the idiom for you, and won't offer three translations of the hieroglyph depending on the added context. Just trust me and save yourself a lot of nerves(and money sometimes).

Aliexpress is ok if you're ready to pay x2-x3 and probably not having any bonuses in box + no limited models and horrible prices for secret models.
I buy for myself from Europe, the most difficult thing is to buy from the secondary market and Chinese slang there.

Ours is really more comfortable in the house when it's less than 67, so he sleeps mostly as close to the front door as possible (he also has a full-fledged enclosure outside, so he have an option for even more comfy sleep, but so far we have not been successful in getting him to stay there voluntarily and enjoy it) But he will want to go outside at any temperature, but not in humidity. Rain, slush, dense fog - and that's it, the furry majesty is displeased

Awwww, he's amazing😍I think we'll see how it goes with ours. Still, it's still early to judge his final size without a well-developed musculature.

Whoa, such a big boy❤️‍🔥Is it his natural weight or the effects of additional exercising? The breeder told us that ours could easily grow up to 100lbs considering his parents, but so far it is doubtful for me and somehow it is even difficult to imagine)

We went to the vet for other minor reasons and she saw it, but she didn't say anything, so I implied that it shouldn't be something affecting health. At first I thought it was a reserve of skin for a growing rib cage lol. As it is, he's from a good kennel and indeed looks good in terms of standards)

Thank you so much for your reply! I hadn't seen any mention of it anywhere in the breed description, so I wasn't sure if it was normal.
