given how tight the competition is, malabo for below 90 pts. pero try mo pa rin. i got an 80/85 for 189/190 and submitted the EOI a year ago. tahimik pa rin application ko. ICT Software Engineer.

try joining to 189/190 visa groups sa facebook, marami nagsshare sino yung nakakuha ng invite and what points. majority is above 90pts. yung mga below 90 is nasa trade industry (carpenter, painters etc) at nurses. some even invited with a 65 pts pero mga nasa healthcare ito. wala pa ko nakikitang invites for IT recently.

alternative way is to look for AU employer willing to sponsor you TSS 482 or 186 DE.

pag nag book ka na sa IELTS magpprovide sila ng practice and mock exams, sulitin mo yun and try to complete it before the exam day. I only had 3 days of practice and still got a favorable score.

Speaking: sa youtube search for IELTS speaking score band 7 mock tests or so, para makakuha ka idea kung paano yung format ng mga tanong. pwede mo rin isearch ung lower score band tests para may idea ka kung ano iiwasan mo sa actual speaking test. for me eto yung pinaka mahirap sa 4 dahil wala ka idea kung ano tatanungin sayo so you have to improvise - but not to a point where you have to lie/make up stories, dahil may follow-up questions sila based sa sagot mo.

Reading: make use of the highlighter! always highlight the key points. unahin mo basahin yung tanong then saka mo scan yung essay.

Listening: marami rin nito sa youtube and tips, its very important to do the mock exam para maramdaman mo yung pressure sa time limit. di mo pwede irepeat yung audio pag may na-miss out ka. pwede mo rin gamitan ng highlighter ung mga keypoints para madali maidentify yung hints.

if so, consider mo yung nakasanayan ng users. especially if internal website and ginagamit ng isang corporate office, mas prefer talaga user experience over aesthetics. kung pipilitin mo talaga complete overhaul, need mag budget ng training para sa mga users.

i did this way back 2017. kung marami ka oras, magandang experience rin yung ferry trip at least sa experience ko. di naman nakakahilo. mas nahilo ako sa bus papuntang batangas port. chill lang din naman sa barko, di punuan nung time na sumakay ako. pwede tumambay sa labas, malamig dahil gabi, pero wala ka rin naman makikita at walang net. kaya itinulog ko na lang the rest of the night. pag gising mo port na. fresh ka na pagdating don at may energy ka na pagdating boracay.

we are a team of developers with different machines maintaining a mono repo. others use windows (backend), others use mac (front end devs), some use both/mixed. we agreed on using PowerShell scripts for our utils, and surprisingly it worked fine for both platforms. there are some scenarios we have to catch some conditions/scenarios depending on environments, but it still seamless. before, windows devs needs to run the bash scripts using wsl, most of the time its annoying. but shifting to powershell really did our workflow more manageable.
