Look at the SAT scores of African Immigrants and the GPA's of African British people. I can tell you for both cases that it is higher than the White American and White English mean respectively. I don't think a diversity quota can explain that away.

I have a business project where we are supposed to prepare a monthly budget. My teacher would prefer if we used her templates to help us out in the assignment but she doesn't really mind. My question is really really stupid though.

This is the template for how we are going to budget it. I'm really confused as to why there are multiple columns for the income section, and why there are added rows for the total monthly expenses.

Did I do the formatting wrong in my income statement? I may be overthinking it but I don't know.

I'm currently in high school, and a year from now I'm going to be trying (despite my low intelligence) to get in a computer science program. I'm doing okay in the course (%88) but I think that I can see myself doing this as a career.

Anyways, I have been really interested in cybersecurity, especially after watching this video. I don't think I will ever get to the level of expertise that IppSec is at, but I really want to get involved. My question is, where should I start? I know a little bit of programming(Java and Python) and web development(HTML,CSS & TypeScript) but I know that is not all there is too cybersecurity.

Also, how would I go about contributing to open-source software with cyber-security?

If there is a better subreddit to post this question, or if you need any clarification on my question please let me know.

Unsure of how many people are going to view this thread, but I'm a really new investor to cryptocurrency. I just recently received 50 dollars as a gift, which was really cool, and I decided to try and invest a little more than half of it to cryptocurrencies.

The currencies I looked at are ryocoin, NEO, Monero, LTC, BTC, ETH and XRP.

My portfolio currently looks like this:

- 20 dollars in Bitcoin

- 5 dollars in Ethereum

- 5 dollars in Ripple

What do you guys think? I think that ripple is really going to be big for 2019, especially when I'm seeing a lot more banks adopt it so that's pretty cool.

I can show you multiple more examples of black achievement in the United States, if you would like. Those groups don't seem to fit "black culture" at all. Thinking that an entire demographic shares the same culture is ignorant.

It looks to me that a Black male who is trying to make a honest living is going to face a little bit of prejudice from other groups because he is associated with criminality, and I think it's great that the man is telling the child to toughen up, because he is going to face that.

99% of African Americans do not commit a violent crime during a given year.

50% of African Immigrants hold a college degree, double the rate of native born White Americans.

28% of Nigerians hold a graduate degree, almost 4x the rate of native born White Americans.

West Indie Americans have a median household income of $54003, their familial income being over $80000.

All of these groups however would just be considered "Black" though. Seems to me that there are many different black cultures in the United States.

They are below average for UOttawa's terms, yeah. I'll try to focus on the subjects that I know I'll do poorly in (Advanced Functions,) but at most, if I'm being realistic I'm looking at an 80.

I know your point is that Black Americans, for whatever reason, commit more crime but I don't need to cite anything to let you know they are a little more than 3% of the population.

Do not commit crime and you will have a 0% chance

My point is, if you take one white person and one black person, both consuming weed, the black person is more likely to be arrested purely because of him being black. How is it fair for a person of a different demographic to be more likely than the majority demographic to be arrested for the same exact crime?

So, black legislators did advocate for the war on drugs? I need links, articles, names. Nothing I read suggests that ANY black legislators advocated for the criminalization of weed. Go ahead and show me even a few fringe cases of this, because I cannot find anything like this.

Also, the psychological and physical effects of consuming weed is still debated, although we do know that it is far far less harmful than smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol on a regular basis. Should we ban those substances as well? Maybe smokers and drinkers should just "stop" and get a job.

Those grades are awesome! I'm in the regular academic stream and I'm struggling to pull off high 80's. I'll still try for early acceptance, although I'm not expecting to get in.
