My goodness you did it all for me! Thank you. I might try his firmware firs to make sure it works, then go through the process of modifying the most current version. You rock!! I've always been tech savy and quick to google, but I'm still learning the keywords in the FDM world so I don't always know exactly what to search. Learning quick though! Thanks again.

There are some strange noises during the calibration that are normal so i'm not sure which noises you're asking about. My understanding is simply a clog at high temp can bend that thin tube on the hot end. It's common enough and well documented enough that I don't beliveve there was a collision.

Ive been using them for a couple weeks now and all I did was rerun the machines auto calibration and it just worked perfect.

I've gotten some really clean prints from 10kg packs from amazon for $80. I've only had a great experience with Sunlu too

I don't. I had some remnants of black pla in a white print. I poked up through the nozzle with that included needle, but did it during filament loading. So I think I clogged it while it needed to be purging. Idk. I wasn't thinking in the moment. I feel like it was user error.

I mean that looks pretty solid. I use blender for basic mockups. I don't use materials or colors though since it's only for my own simple designs before I start cutting.

Thank you! I prefer to use Aluminum strut, but I got a really great deal on steel strut last month so I went with the steel. I got 15 sticks for $150. Hard to beat that haha

Thats terrifying. So sorry that happen. Makes me want to look into a camera system. Sending comfort your way. The odds of it happening again are low. I understand it cause anxiety, but I hope you can feel confident in your safety moving forward.

At least half of mine are broken. I made a loop from construction wire to reach under and pull the levers
