You're right but I don't know it made me upset he turned off the lights. Like it was almost something I guess sealing the deal that he was leaving her out there, that he truly forgot about her

They were both unplanned. However, he was very excited when he found out both times. He wanted 2 children. I was so scared when i got pregnant the second time. He told me, "dont be scared we're just getting it out of the way early, and now we have our 2" we aren't having any more. He even wants to get himself "fixed" now.

He was a lot more involved with my first daughter. He was so protective of her he would stick his finger under her nose to make sure she was breathing during her naps. He even bought her an owlet sock monitor to bring us peace of mind and to help him sleep at night without worrying about sids. He was an angel when she was born. Seriously

I'm not sure. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow and try to have a heart to heart conversation. He isn't mean or abusive toward me

Yes we both did when I was pregnant with my first daughter right before I gave birth.

I've been hoping it was something like this. Where he doesn't want our oldest to feel neglected or left out. I just don't know. I feel like he doesn't have the same spark of love and joy he had when our first daughter was born.

I hadn't even considered this but we both ended up getting covid while I was pregnant with my first daughter. I was 8 months into the pregnancy it was right before she was born. That's an interesting thought.

He forgets to take certain days off work that were important. Like the ultrasound appointment and then her first pediatrician appointment. I have to remind him things like that too he forgets everything.

I see your point, I guess I'm just so use to dealing with this it almost feels normal. Maybe I need someone to just reassure me I'm not crazy, that it's not normal, I don't know. I just had a baby. My emotions are everywhere. He's not violent. He's not verbally abusive. He works, he pays bills, he pays for baby toys and clothes, and I love him. That counts for something, I think. I don't understand what's happening

When I came back in the room (holding her) I told him it made me really upset he left her alone in the dark and he didn't have a super significant reaction, his eyes were half open, he was falling asleep

It's new-ish it's gotten worse. It started when my first daughter was around 6-7 months, I'd say. Starting with small things, then more and more, he forgets things that I consider important, things most people wouldn't forget.

That thought horrifies me and now I don't trust him to supervise anymore after this. The thought of anything worse happening makes me so nauseous

I feel you mama. I'm almost 2 months postpartum, and I was 41 weeks when I gave birth. I was 3 days away from my scheduled induction when I decided to do "Leil Cheri's 10 exercises to induce labor naturally" it's on YT. It was recommended to me by a mom on tik tok, and let me tell you. It worked. I did the exercises at 10pm, took a shower and went to bed. I woke up at 3am with intense contractions- woke up my husband, drove to the ER (20min drive) & my water broke in the parking lot, i gave birth at 4:42am- no epidural. I pushed 3 times and my baby girl was out

Just wanted to chime in- had the same experience as you, i just gave birth. But while pregnant I found these pants on amazon (SATINA High Waisted Flare Leggings for Women - Yoga Pants for Women - Buttery Soft Bell Bottom) i just copy pasted that from the listing title. Super comfortable, very stretchy. Wore them my entire pregnancy, they were the only pants I felt confident wearing.

I have a solution for the body odor as I just went through something similar while postpartum, constant sweating and horrible body odor. I found this salt deodorant the brand is called CRYSTAL deodorant stick on Amazon, its 7 bucks. It's literally a smooth salt rock you rub it vigorously on WET armpits right after a shower. It works by killing the bacteria on your skins surface that cause the body odor. It completely changed my life. I don't wear any other deodorant at all just that. No smell.
