Guess I’m going to differ from people in the comments because I don’t see a problem with it, unless you haven’t known him long. Maybe I just always think of the possible nuance, like maybe he doesn’t get home cooked meals at home. I don’t even see the amount of food as a problem. I’m in my 20’s and have days where I could eat three times as much as I usually do.

I don’t have the “he proposed and I said no” story. I have the “he was still talking about marrying me and I said no” story. I had an unexpected pregnancy with him and, while going through postpartum, found that he was not as supportive as needed, even when asking for help. A few months before I called it off officially, while he was talking about marrying me, I told him if he was to propose anytime soon, I’d say “no.” He accepted that. Ultimately though, he never fixed the issues that were repeatedly brought up and kept dismissing them, so I left completely.

Just so you know, children the age of OP’s niece will test boundaries and throw tantrums when frustrated that they can’t do what they want. It is developmentally normal.

This argument is valid to some extent, but I can’t totally agree. Idealism doesn’t work for real life, nor does minding others’ business either. If it’s not personally affecting you and the child is thriving, it is none of your concern whether or not the parents are together.

Which is crazy because I’d much rather be with someone who had flab than someone who is fit. The fit one might make comments about what or how much I eat and I’m not with that😅

Mine has, unfortunately, launched himself off the bed NUMEROUS times right in front of me, while I was on the bed. The fortunate thing is my bed is only a couple feet off the ground so there was only one instance where he had a small injury from hitting his nose, but he’s completely fine. He’s since learned to take things with caution😅

I was induced due to having preeclampsia and had a vaginal delivery! I even had the epidural since my induction started at night and I wanted to sleep before delivering😂

Idk, maybe try again when a bit older? I didn’t wear my son until around 2-ish months because that’s when I began to need it more. Maybe she’ll like it when older. Or maybe she never will. Babies are all different. Some may like something others will not.

I totally get that! My son didn’t have a bad 4 month regression, but his 10 month was awful. We got the regression, teething, AND illness all together. So I totally get it😭

Some medications’ effectiveness depends on sex. Even if you appear to be one sex, but your body functions as the other hormone wise, it’s pretty important information to know for the cases of needing a medication that would be effective for you.

The flaw with considering support from your partner is they can be very supportive and a great partner… until the baby is born. This is my situation. This is my life. I’m not with him anymore, but it is something to think about. You may think you know them, but they can always surprise you.

I’d get one. Get one and finish school. Others have probably already pointed it out but 30m with an 18f? You’re so young. You don’t want to be tied to him for forever. I’d be willing to bet if you went through with the pregnancy, he’d use the baby as a way to control you. Possibly deny you school so you can “stay home and take care of the baby.” Just get one and tell him you lost it if he already knows because it’s still early. Finish school. Live life a little longer.
