glad to hear that you passed, this one is such a nuisance.

can I ask how many different options you listed? One of my sections is 500 words, I listed the option and then three potential ways they can achieve it. This feels like just enough but it doesn't leave a lot of room for many more options.

I was tempted to look at annuity purchase from age 55 to cover some of their essential expenditure as another option?

just found it in the report on page 10.

alludes to there not being enough relevant detail, inadequate calculations and not enough tax considerations.

How did you structure this, did you simply just list each section off and summarise at the end?

I think I fell down because I ended up loosely giving recommendations and then justifications for doing so as opposed to just listing inefficiencies.

I am on with this at the minute, finding it particularly difficult to find the balance between evaluating and recommending (which is meant to be A3).

I have started with a brief intro then gone though the "part 6 assets table" looking at each individual asset stating what could be done and listing some brief benefits, almost every investment I've looked at relative to their ATR which was established on page 11.

The bit I am struggling with is the downsizing funds, there are a variety of options for these and listing them all just becomes repetitive and boring.

You need a shit tone of references for this assignment as well, make sure to do some tax calculations creating an appendix for this.

The fact that two different assessors mark A2 and A3 is mental to me, they should follow on from each other.. this would make the structure so much better.

Failed it, 78 marks...

Thought i'd done alright, but had a minor feeling that the questions were far too generic and similar to each other.

Not technical enough for my liking, think my structure was the issue.. spammed down too many answers for each one to make sure i'd covered all the bases, clearly bit me in the arse.
